I would not like to be working under the manager or Maître D' we had that evening. The greeting from her was cold to say the least. The staff were scared of her. The manager had her favourite customers for whom she completely changed her attitude to a nice reception for them, waiting on then hand and foot. The manager needs to work the room and provide personable service to all. The restaurant has been going for 18 years. This was out 10th year. Friday night and not too many diners. Food was good. The wait staff under the manager were good.

Great food and fast service. The prices are reasonable. The menu is easy to read (without glasses).

Service was great. As were Roti and Thai fishcakes. Laksa, too much noodles, not enough soup, as with curry ratio of meat and potatoes.

Was told from a friend to try the place and it was good.

Highly recommend!! We have been coming here for years and it is nothing but the best. Between the food and the service it is our favourite Asian cuisine place on the Sunshine Coast.

Each time we have dinned at Sangs the staff are always very friendly and accommodating, the meals come out very promptly and the food always taste's amazing! We will definitely be back!

Sangs is one of our favourite Asian restaurants. We were here tonight celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. Family flew in from overseas to surprise him. Thank you to the wonderful staff who looked after us tonight.

The food was very tasty and fresh but atmosphere was a bit lacking. Very quiet for a Sat night before Mother’s Day.

The waitress seemed like she didnt want to be there and even rolled her eyes after we asked about one of our dishes not coning out with the rest of our meal. One of my friends said her meal wasnt nice at all.

The food was very mediocre and certainly not value for money. I am sure the sauce was the same for the 3 dishes we had. Any resemblances to Thai cooking was only coincidental and I will not be visiting that establishment again.

Well a 2 hour wait for the last of our meals to arrive didn't go down too well, when people who arrived an hour after us received their meals before we got ours. Luckily the food was good. Understaffed but the staff did try their best. THey just need to get their priorities set better.

Waited a while for drinks order to be taken. Same with meals given it was not particularly busy. Quite hot and wet weather curtain could not be raised as broken making it quite hot. Food fabulous as always and staff perfect.

We were looking forward to some lovely food but sad to say this was the worst meal. Firstly, we waited for just over 30 mins for the meals to arrive. The tofu noodle with veg choice (requested without fish sauce), tasted fishy and included something which looked like chicken. We were told it was not chicken but egg but we were not convinced. There was a thick unpleasant tasting sauce and hardly any veg making it inedible. The other noodle option choice with local prawns and veg was heavily drowned with a thick sauce seemily to disguise noodles which had been 75% cooked and then left to dry out making them rather chewy. There was hardly any veg in this either. The so-called Mooloolaba prawns were very disappointing especially at $35! We were given 20% off the bill but this really wasn’t the point. We would rather have had a delicious well cooked tasty meal and paid the full price. We will not go back again. Although Michelle apologised and did her best to ameliorate the situation, we got the impression that the owner was not around.

Michelle and her team are so very welcoming, she even remembers my son's favourite meals of sticky pork belly and pork dumplings every time... such charm, such good food and a great location near the sea, can't beat it !
