St. James Crabhouse & Kitchen

Dinner here was a surprise for me, so i had very little expectations, but as soon as i saw that menu, my eyes lit up. A lovely mix of dishes to suit all appetites and tastes. Great to sit back, laugh, enjoy good food, and great company. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu.

Absolutely perfect presentation and flavour even in the kids meals. The lobster was heavenly and as a first time lobster eater me and mum loved it. Best birthday for mum yet!

Great place to eat especially you enjoy crab & seafood. The sides are yummy too. Dipping the complimentary bread in the sauces the seafood comes in is a must.

I have been here a few times and every time this place never disappoints. Food is always great and so is the service! I highly recommend and I will come back again!

Quite pricey but sooooooo delish! Friendly staff. Food was served fast. Already planning to go back, but maybe just once a year or so when we’re feeling indulgent.

Excellent food and staff were very nice and friendly. Mud crab was delicious, maybe even better than the king crab. Soft shell crab was also great, maybe a bit expensive at $24. Mudcrab deal was good value, king crab was $99 per half kilo. Staff quick and friendly, just the (I think) owner was walking around grumpy with a friend standing in the kitchen etc. didn’t think that was very professional and customer friendly.

Food was so delicious. I can’t wait to go back again. Really good value for money. The seafood was of good size and cooked really well :)

Pablo was awesome and the food was divine. The restaurant was funky... Will definitely be back to try other things on the menu - Or just the different sauces on The lobster platter we had the first time! 😊😊

The food was amazing. The service was great. My only complaint would be that we were not given crab crackers and the appropriate fork for eating crab. Having said that, amazing food.

Staff were very accommodating. Food was yummy! We were not disappointed at all. Husband enjoyed his father’s day treat! And yes the baltimore sauce was superb😃

Great night. Great food. Best done in a group. The large dish of all variety of crab and mussels and prawns was awesome. Fun times

Had the seafood medley and it was incredible! It was messy but delicious and fun. We were made to feel so welcome and comfortable at this wonderful little restaurant. Will definitely return.

The food was great, but find a bit expensive. People are nice. I was expecting that it’s a big restaurant and was surprised to see that it’s just a small place.

Dined for two and shared a snow crab combo and pork ribs. Excellent service, friendly staff and great food. Would definitely recommend and come again

A small unsuspecting shop filled with top notch nosh, the crab and beef ribs were devine and the chips are good. Our go to place for a celebration dinner

Good selection of seafood. Good price. Nice funky space. Helpful staff. We had spanner crab, Morton Bay bugs & short ribs, all excellent. Drinks a good price also.

Delicious! Prompt service, clean & tidy, helpful staff. It was the first visit for our friends and they loved it! Our reservation was ready for us when we arrived 15 mins early, we appreciated that.

Food was served very quickly. We got the snow crab combo served in a pan which I have to say wasn’t as flavoursome as when the crab came in the bag . Though overall still quite delicious .

Absolutely loved dinner. We had the mud crab combo and it was so good we forgot our truffle fries which were pretty tasty too. Seafood was fresh and flavoursome. Singapore chilli wasn’t too spicy and didn’t lose the flavour of the seafood. We’ll be back, soon!

It was the most amazing feed. We shared a plate wih all the seafood on it with garlic sauce over it all. The bread was great to dip in garlic sauce. We will go back there again.

Had the specials board Truffle lobster crab platter with Baltimore sauce. holy it was awesome. shared the platter with my wife and we had the garlic sauce all over my fingers loved it. Next time definately going the Alaskan King crab claws. we will be back.

Amazing staff greeted us from the start , and were always there to look after all our needs . Seafood was absolutely delicious , as were the ribs also . Definitely going back there , highly recommend anyone to go there !!!!!!

After reading the fantastic reviews I decided last night to celebrate my 60th birthday with my husband at this amazing place. I was greeted warmly and offered a complimentary glass of wine for my birthday, The prawns were cooked to perfection with the most beautiful sauce and my husbands steak was the best he has tasted! The staff were very friendly and helpful and we will be dining again at this little gem!

Great service and delicious food. The atmosphere was really nice and many recommendations of how to mix up the menu and put a feast together. With another store about to open at Portside, we will need to check this one out as well!

Highly recommended for all seafood lovers. Food was fantastic. The crab was especially good - we had it in the New Orleans sauce which was perfect. Service was excellent too. Can’t wait to go back.
