St. James Crabhouse & Kitchen

I don’t like to do negative reviews but our meal we ordered (Snow Crab in Baltimore sauce > garlic butter) took almost 1 hour till we received it and to our disappointment, the crab legs were all over cooked, the dish was drenched in garlic making it even more hard to enjoy it & lastly for a crab dish there was a lot more mussels in my dish then there was crab legs smh 😑. I’m a seafood lover & I wont compare it to other amazing crabhouse/mukbangs/crab boil restaurants/takeaways I’ve had overseas cause that ain’t fair but I paid $95 for my meal so I expect it to be worth $95. To be honest it wasn’t. Other than that the staff was great.

I had a great experience at St James Crabhouse. Great location and environment. Staff were all very friendly. The food was delicious. Would definitely come back.

Loved the food here, my partner came once with work and was blown away, so he had to bring me here to. I was not at all disappointed by the quality of the food and the service. Can’t wait to come back again to try more items on the menu.

My friend and I went for dinner on a Monday evening and the service was very attentive, informative and we split the crab mac n’cheese balls (good serving size, and divine!!) as an entree and split the Snow Crab seafood combo with the champagne citrus sauce for a light dinner with a glass of sparkling wine each. It was perfect and we can’t wait to come back!

Me an my partner decided to go to the Crabhouse for date night and boy it did not disappoint. Staff were so friendly and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. Some of the best seafood I’ve had in my life. We definitely splurged a bit but you can easily have a filling meal for $50. Cannot recommend the sizzling garlic prawns and Moreton bay bugs enough. Will be coming back here for sure.

Fantastic restaurant, easy to find parking, staff were very friendly and attentive, we got the daily specials to try a bit of everything - the seafood was fresh, the pork ribs were massive and the service was super quick. We'll definitely be back.

We found the menu and food and service to be OK. We are glad we went because we had heard a lot about the Crabhouse but won't be going back anytime soon.

Get the special, put the bib & gloves on and go crazy. Crab combo is amazing. Cooked just right & chilli sauce was delicious. Service is great too.

Great singapore chilli crabs. Great service. If you like spicy must ask for the extra chilli paste fot your crab 😁 This restaurant also has non seafood like ribs and chicken wings. Recommended.

Wow amazing!! Loved our experience at this restaurant. Service was excellent and the food simply melted in your mouth. Diffinately will be coming back to try some more of the seafood.

Pure and simple, the food here is great and the service was excellent. The prawn starter with garlic butter sauce was the stand out starter of the night. The lobster main share platter was nice but could be better if the lobster flesh hadn't been removed and buggered around with a light mayo type sauce and then placed back in the shell. The rest of the lobster platter was great. The crab share platter was the best main of the evening and had a decent amount of crab meat. We will definitely be back to try the ribs and have another prawn starter.

Wonderful service and absolutely amazing food. Seafood was fresh and the serving of ribs were huge and excellent value for money. Nice wine selection and nice selection of beers

We went on a Saturday night, very busy, you should probably book in advance. Good quality food, reflected in the pricing. Fast and friendly service.

Delicious food and service was good and non-intrusive also well priced. Only fault I could say is that it is noisy. We will certainly be back to St James Crab House.

Great place to eat crab in Brisbane. Went for my birthday and it was amazing. Highly recommended to come and try when in Brisbane if your a crab and seafood lover.

We ordered the $99 seafood special and it was not the seafood feast expected! Only half lobster, half crab, 3 prawns, & 2 bay bugs! Hungry!

Deliciously prepared high quality seafood. Don't let the bare exterior fool you. Food like this will not come cheap, unless you know how to cook it yourself.

The food was delicious and the service was simple but good. Great value for money, with the $89 platter for two being like one that would be $150 elsewhere

This small restaurant really packs a punch. We enjoyed the friendly personalized service provided by our waiter for the evening. Our crab meals amazing and very tasty. We enjoyed the procedure of donning protective aprons and gloves. The food and drinks are reasonably priced.

Went for a burthday. The food was great, the staff were very helpful but the music was a bit loud for conversation. Would definitely go again.

Good Food, Good Service but the small facility meant that the noise did not make for a quiet evening. Perhaps the opening of windows would alleviate this. Also no choice available for 1 person serve of King/Snow crab so I had to order local crab.

Beautiful food, great service. Will definitely be returning. The Snow crab medly and crab cakes were delicious and even tried there ribs takeaway which were well worth it also.

Outstanding service and fresh quality product. We had a Singapore Chilli crab platter. The product was prepared beautifully and perfectly presented. All staff were warm and welcoming. 5* quality.

Love the place, the service and specialy the king crab legs in Singapore chilli sauce, yum. Will be back shortly by the end of the week. Two time in one week: it says a lot.
