Rudest people. Food ok. They brought the bill while I was having my meal. I called for the Manager and explained they have absolutely no manners and etiquette. What they did if they want to close the restaurant early they should have not taken my booking but they want my money and they want everything their way restaurant was empty. The entrance of the restaurant was terrible. It was stinking and all I saw was fish tanks. It was like being in a fish market.

Food and service was very good; the ambience of the restaurant was terrible being shut in a dark space with black curtains blocking any views. Horrible smell from the live fish tanks which need to be located elsewhere.

With the amount of money you spend at this expensive restaurant then you get slugged with a 10% surcharge then another card surcharge making it a very expensive dining experience, not to mention to pay for parking on top of this.

We have a VIP room that meets with our event requirements to cater for 30 people, plus privacy. The Manager Andy is very understanding about our budget, he specifically design a menu for us. The serving staff are polite an friendly . All the guests feel welcome. We have a enjoyable and memorable night. Thanks for the professional service extended to us. We will be back in the near future.

We’ve been a number of times but this last time we waited 40 mins before our food came out and they forgot the entree first. Then we got charged an extra $10 for noodles that were a garnish on the XO pipes, which was a bit cheeky of them considering they didn’t ask if we wanted that! They weren’t busy so I think it was an off night for them.

The food was quite nice but we were extremely rushed to have our meal, plates weee taken away while we weee still eating

Unfortunately it felt like we were in a bunker near the kitchen. There was constant noise of clattering pots and pans, the staff seemed in a hurry to get rid of us and while the food was ok, I certainly wouldn't recommend this restaurant and will not return. Less than average experience for the price.

Celebrating my sons 21st, we had a private room. Food was absolutely delicious. Staff couldn’t be more helpful. And to robot at the end singing Happy Birthday during cake time was just perfect. Thankyou for making our time there last night memorable.

We had the signature pippies with XO sauce on fried vermicelli—absolutely delicious! We also indulged in the impeccable live lobster with two exquisite courses: sashimi of lobster, Sydney rock oysters, and salmon, followed by lobster meat cooked with ginger and shallots. The cozy atmosphere, soft lighting, and elegant décor made for a perfect dining experience.

Every dish was extremely salty, paying nearly $1,400 for a 3kg Tasmanian King crab and end up eating crab shells coated in tapioca starch was a big let down. The only plus side was pleasant staff’s services.

Restaurant over booked, we were booked at 2115 arrived at 2045. Other customers who book and arrived at 2000, even did got a table……everyone looks extremely upset, in the end that we have to give up on finding other restaurants……..

Food is just ok when compared to Royal Palace restaurant now occupying the old Golden Century site . Pricey food although can’t complain about the service . Not impressed with the general cleanliness of the fish tank, especially dead abalone floating at the bottom of the slimy tank .

Dont get seated near the seafood tanks! It smells damp, musty and you get water splashed on you. Oyster were bistro sized and hot pot had way to much tofu and not much seafood. Way over priced in terms of food.

The only drawback was that we had the table beside the smoking area/exit and it stank when people came in and out. Kind of put a stink in an otherwise flawless dining experience. Might be a good idea to seat smokers at this table NOT non smokers OR better yet make the smokers leave the restaurant entirely and not provide a little door for smoking beside the dining guests.

It’s a pre-theatre dinner on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is not busy at all only 2 or 3 tables during our visit but staff were busy talking between themselves. Food is much worse than their restaurant XOPP in the city. We ordered xo pippies very disappointing, Peking duck and vegetable dishes are very average. Not impressive.

We didn't have to wait long for our dishes. It was a good dining experience.
