I do not like having to walk through the front bar to get to the dining area. When we were leaving, the bar floor was awash with liquid. Also we had to wait to see the wine list of which there was only one copy available.

Deliberately selected this hotel because of it's steak menu The Angus Rump was tough - could not finish it, Potato good. Brocolini overcooked. Chicken Schnitzel huge but needed more spice - quite bland Having a Groupon Menu may be a costing decision but the purpose of Groupon is to attract new - returning, loyal customers. It is made quite clear that Groupon are of a lower class! The quality of food should be of the same standard. We are not motivated to return. Service was great and atmosphere very welcoming

We were there on a Sunday, and in the dining area, all televisions were on with the sound turned up. It was annoying, only football, didn't need sound, made it difficult to have conversation. Food and service always good.

Food here is fantastic, particularly the lamb ribs. We travel from Camberwell to south melbourne to eat these, they are delicious. Parma's are huge, calamari very generous. only criticism is that the salad is not crisp, but only a minor criticism. Staff friendly, perfect to go before a day at South Melbourne market, except you wont want to buy food because you are tooooooooooo full of delish food.

This is a great place to eat. Close to the south Melbourne market, kid friendly. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food is great. generous portions, tasty, and quite frankly, we wouldn't bother going anywhere else. I would thoroughly recommend, you will not be disappointed. And I am a good cook, according to most of my family and friends, and my expectations are high.

The service is good, the atomosphere ok, the food great. We always have lamb ribs, which are spicy and delicious. My partner had the parma, which is huge, and I had the calamari. Would thoroughly recommend. It's not our local, we travel 15 kilometres to get there, and worth every minute of it.

Fantastic as always. Trivia night is done really well, the menu is brilliant, great beer selection and impressive wine list. Can't wait to see that fireplace roaring!

A corner pub that is clean and has a lovely feeling inside. Great for a summer night also with the outside sidewalk tables for the smokers in your life.

We were there for a family dinner of 6 on the night the semi AFL final game was on between the Dogs and Giants. You may imagine the crowd. There were humans everywhere! Staff were to their best capacity and did a great job serving everyone. At the time of a goal, no matter by which team, every patron had a drink in their hands while they yelled and cheered. This was brilliant already if you ask me ;) Lovely place and pleasant services. Next time I will have to remember to check out their upstairs space. Yes, I will be back for the finals!! Go Doggies!!!

Food was pretty standard. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and the chicken was boiled and not grilled. Decent size servings though. Also, they had no record of our booking so we were lucky to get a table as they were running a trivia night.
