A place I can highly recommend, good food and a pleasant atmosphere!

Kathy and her team were fabulous and attentive at The Old Fig Tree Restaurant. Highly recommended to anyone wanting a unique experience.

We eat here often, always great food and excellent service.

Food was great! Large portions and excellent wait staff. Nice atmosphere with the canopy of fairy lights made for a romantic anniversary dinner.

I had the steak sandwich which was very nice. Service was very good as we had to wait for a friend to join us the wait staff did not bug us to order

Had a booking for 8 ladies and the service was excellent along with good presentation of meals for lunch which were tasty. The ladies had not visited this place before and were very impressed.

The photos for The Old Fig Tree Rest looked so lovely but when we got there it was lacking in...well everything. The decor is dated and needs a revamp. There was also a very musty, old, dirty smell....like an unloved holiday unit. The table needed a bloody good clean, my serviette was stuck to the table and it felt dirty and tacky. The Bruschetta was the only nice food that was served to us, everything else was very ordinary. The guy who waited on us was absolutely a gem. He was attentive but not overly. Wouldn't go back until I knew that place had a total revamp and there was a different chef.

We go there because of our previous experiences and we have always been treated so well. Last night was no different. The lovely lady wasn’t there but the staff were just wonderful.

What a fabulous little place. Absolutely terrific service. The staff had an urgency about what they were doing and actually looked like they gave a damn!! The owners need to really appreciate these guys - seriously. No begging for water or to order more drinks. Food was good and reasonably priced. Great atmosphere under the grape vines. We will be back - thank you for a brilliant afternoon!!

Nice place, food was good but our bottle of wine was forgotten, and we were never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, so we left without any.

My Partner and I enjoyed the old fig , the atmosphere was tranquil and the service was excellent .thanks to Vic he did an amazing job . the Food was wonderful, it definitely didn't disappoint . Value for Money we will go again .

Had to wait a bit to order but totally understand as staff were working very hard. Good wait between entree and main - but very glad as needed it as portions were so big. Very happy staff. Thank you, we had a lovely time and will be back again.

there was a storm blowing outside so honky nuts blown onto the roof sheets made a bit of noise. Added to the atmosphere being snug in the outside area with cafe blinds down
