Staff are helpful and polite. Yummy food and menu is extensive. We have been going there for years.

We are really only once-a-year visitors to Roman Empire but we've been ordering the same meal every year for a long time (Scallops EVO) and this year we were disappointed. It was not flavoursome, the spaghetti limp and overcooked and as regulars will know, this is not a particularly cheap restaurant. Even the pana cotta dessert was pretty mediocore this year. We probably won't go next year.

Food was great, but a massive wait on food and any service. Recommend but not at a busy time unless you like waiting. The email to review came through to rate the place before we hadnt even seen any food.

Chef too heavy-handed on the balsamic in entree and oil in the main. Also waited 40-45 mins for our mains which the waitress only realised after she asked if we wanted to see the dessert menu. Some basic fine-tuning (including simply turning up the music) could make this a really fantastic local restaurant.

We had a nice night. It was an extremely humid night and I found it a bit uncomfortable as the restaurant is quite open plan and not enclosed, so it was hot. The food was excellent as were the staff who were all very friendly. There was a large group in the restaurant but our meals didn't take too long and the staff were kind enough to let us know there would be a bit of a delay. Overall I will definitely go back again.

Friendly staff, food was good, bought out the wrong pizza but staff apologies sincerely for the error. Comfortable environment.

Very disappointed , we have been going to Roman Empire for special occasions for years and not sure what has happened but when it’s not booked out is a clear indication something was wrong. I got my favorite signature dish which was terrible. Worst of all we took our friends for New Years and felt guilty we recommended this restaurant as one of the best Italian in Brisbane. Lasagne was dry and pizzas average at best. Unfortunately won’t be back. 😢

We were having our Christmas party and the staff made sure our group had all they needed in good times. Meals were delicious and of a good serving size. The staff were also very helpful in the pre party organising days. Have been here before and will come again. Thanks to the team at Roman Empire.

I love this restaurant. Dining on Monday night is the best value as you get the 2-for-1 main course deal. The pasta is delicious. I tried the Spicy Scallops and Garlic Calamari Spaghetti. Although I was expecting more sauce with the pasta, I was not disappointed on taste. They also have a great selection of cocktails at very reasonable prices.

Not the best location wise as you get the odd car revs and expelling fumes but everything else was fantastic! Would definitely recommend :)

The food is generally very good modern Italian-Australia fusion. A couple of traditional items we had were good but not really traditional nor were they outstanding. Their more modern interpretation of dishes are the better options. Overall, a place I would happily visit again.

Duck Risotto was fantastic. Seafood linguine was a little dry. Pizza was nice too.

I haven't been here for quite sometime. All the old favorites were still on the menu. Quite a pleasant evening.

We found the quantity of food sufficient and delicious. As there were quite a few people there we found it quite loud and for this reason we waited over half an hour for our order.

The food was pretty good. Kids pizza not as nice as usual. Oysters were very fresh.

Great meals. Had my favourite Godfather 6 fettuccini - delicious as always. Good value anytime but bonus was 2 for 1 Monday.

We had a great night at a relaxed venue. The staff were great and the food was excellent.

Food was really nice. If only they played some Dean Martin, or some music that was more in-theme. Not trying to be cliched, it was just that the modern pop they had playing didn't quite do it. Slightly over priced, but will likely go back. Recommended.

We went to lunch on a reasonably hot day but luckily there was a breeze through the restaurant. The food as usual was very good. The veal melted in the mouth and the gnocchi was superb.

Average restaurant the floor looks dirty and old. Service was ok. Overpriced meal and average taste very small meal size. Personally I will not go there again
