Just had the most delicious Cheesewheel pasta dinner! Service was so friendly and Rob is a great chef! Such an experience to have your meal prepared right by your table. Definately will be back!

Homestyle and cosy traditional Italian restaurant - licensed and BYO. Meals delicious but perhaps a tad pricey for out in the suburbs. Would visit again.

Fantastic food and service as always, we were there to celebrate our daughter's 3oth Birthday and it couldn't have been better !!! my wife made our daughter's favorite cake and it was brought out by the owner and his waitress, with the candles lit singing Happy Birthday, a very nice touch, that was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. looking forward to going back soon.Talked my son in law into having the veal and he could not stop raving about it !! well done to everyone at The Roman Empire Bar Restaurant !!! 10 out of 10 from all 6 of us :)

Many choices for lunch and loved that you could also order off the breakfast menu. The food was great. Good wine list. Prices were very reasonable. Easy parking. Friendly staff. We will definitely dine here again.

We had to wait more than an hour for our meal. Not too impressed. The venue is very noisy. Meals when they where finally served where ok

Good service, quality food. Relaxing environment with a little bit of fancy. It was easy to book, staff were welcoming and patient. They are happy to adjust meals a little to cater for individual taste and accomodate dietary requirements.

The servers and food was lovely. But we waited over an hour for our food. We ordered at 6:20 and the food finally came out at 7:30. I understand it’s their 2-for-1 deal night so I suggest they should stagger their booking times.

Excellent food at very good prices. We have been to Roman Empire a few times now and it's always the same quality food. Helpful staff make it a great night.

Good food and friendly service.....Though our waitress forgot the salad. Creme brûlée a bit gluggy. Quite noisy but the place is usually packed so part of the ambience!

Food was good, 3 out of 4 meals were enjoyable but one meal was not to the same standard as had before this diner was a bit disappointed. We weren't told about the special deal for a Monday night and this created confusion when we wanted to pay.

Roman Empire always continues to impress. We were warmly welcomed when we arrived and seated without any fuss. The service was very efficient without being in your face.

Great service. Menu varied. Plenty of off street parking. They were very helpful when we went to pay we enjoyed our meals.separately. Would go again.

The meals were very tasty. We had fish of the day which was Barramundi. I will go back for a meal there and would recommend this restaurant.

Excellent mains and dessert. Kids meals disappointing at $17 each . Suppose it not a kids restaurant so not encouraging that crowd. Overall nice but not with kids

terrible.we didn't stay for more than 2 mins as the glasses were dirty and the menus filthy. we left without ordering. disappointed and we won't be back

Great tasting food and very friendly service. The owner came around and chatted to us which was lovely. BYO restaurants are great as we had a special bottle of wine that we could enjoy with our lovely meal.

Authentic Italian bistro with delicious home-made elements. The gnocchi di fungi was sensational, my partner really like the generosity in size of each individual gnocchi.

Disappointing. Pizzas were average and meals not worth their price tag. Chilli on everything doesn't make it taste better. First time customers and won't be returning.

Staff are friendly but it’s over priced. Chicken was way over cooked but the pizza bases were nice if not a little too much cheese. Not into running places down so I’d recommend giving it a go.

The food was delicious and the service spot on. There was a good range of drinks to choose from. My father particularly enjoyed the bread and butter pudding, and my husband and i tried the semifroddo for the first time. It won't be the last. Overall, good value for a good meal.

Food was absolutly delicious!!! The service was fantstic. Highly recommend Roman Empire for its high quality delicious food. The Smoked salmon Linguine paired with the Chaffey Bros reisling is to die for.

3 out of the 4 meals were great. The 4th was not. It was the lamb shoulder special and it was way over cooked and dried out.

We were a party of 8 for lunch. We were warmly greeted on our arrival and offered a choice of seating inside the restaurant or outside in the sun as it was a cool day. Water arrived immediately without any request. The lunch menu offered a good variety and also there were specials. Everyone likes specials. There is a good variety of drinks on offer. We did not have dessert but there we plenty to choose from. The coffee is very good.

The Roman Empire Bar Restaurant featured excellent food and service. Situated in a hidden corner of Carina, Roman Empire lived up to expectations and gave us a great night out.

The whole dining experience was very good. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent. It was our second visit and we will be returning.

Three friends went for lunch on a Friday. We were early and the place was pretty empty. Staff were attentive to a degree and two of us enjoyed our meal. One ordered the Mariana fettuccine but wasn't overly impressed. My chicken was a bit chewy but had a nice flavour. It is years since we had been to Roman Empire, and clearly it has been taken over from the Italian family who used to run it , very successfully. Not sure if we will return, but I was impressed by the look of their pizzas, so that might persuade me to try again. Not a total loss but could have been better, but not too expensive either. Cant have everything it appears.
