Great traditional style pizza with a bit of spice good value
Exceptional food and value and friendly service. Already looking forward to our next visit.
Lovely athmosphere excelkent service, really delicious food. An excellent local restaurant
Had dinner with my family. Food was excellent and staff were great.
Disappointing. Table service very lacking and food very ordinary. Have been to this restaurant many times through the years, but not keen to be recommending as it is currently.
Very friendly atmosphere with warm greetings from the staff. Food was delicious. Overall, a wonderful evening.
We went to lunch on a reasonably hot day but luckily there was a breeze through the restaurant. The food as usual was very good. The veal melted in the mouth and the gnocchi was superb.
Average restaurant the floor looks dirty and old. Service was ok. Overpriced meal and average taste very small meal size. Personally I will not go there again
Amazing service guys. Always an incredible experience when we come and eat there. I have been many times and you guys have never disappointed. The creme brûlée was Devine!
A truly delightful dining experience again. We have been to The Roman Empire quite often over the years and our expectations have been exceeded every time.
A night at Roman Empire provided Friendly service Enjoyed fresh seafood salad and seafood pizza - the base was just right thickness. Canoli was great, a decent serve. Excellent coffee!
We were seated in the "outdoor" section and the breeze was beautiful. The four of us had only mains and were all enjoyed immensely - Fish of the day, "Gladiator" gnocchi, 'Fungi' gnocchi and the smoked salmon linguine. A good night had by all.
Food was below average. Service was ok but not great. Wont return sorry. What a shame as has been here so many times in the past.
Very poor service they came to the table twice , once to take order and once to deliver food. We were there for over 2 hrs. The food took nearly 40 mins to arrive and there was only two couples in the restaurant. Our salad tasted like it was yesterdays, and the soft drink was flat and warm. The prices were not cheap either and we both walked out of there still hungry. Obviously this has changed hands as this restaurant used to be awesome!
Food was lovely but the junior staff are not terribly service oriented which takes the shine off the experience. Two for one deal on Monday nights makes it worth a visit.
Meal was exceptional however ambience of music was not the greatest AC/DC and bon jovi not the music it should be for Italian ambience....try the limoncello it is superb!
Every time the food comes out is different it seems you don’t have a standard cook. I have 3 times of smoke salmon linguini but always different taste. The pork belly same
We order six meals , they were all terrible. Even the pizza! Dominos pizza are better. And if you do brave this this hole, don’t order the cocktails, they are alcohol free.
Have only been to this Restaurant a couple of times but on both occasions found the food delicious. Between myself and my family (adults and kids) we have had 8 different dishes and no one has left anything on their plate
The food was excellent and the service from the waitress was top notch as well however it was the staffing levels that kept the score from being higher. Only one waitress on serving the whole place which at the time we were there was almost at capacity and it was a Saturday night. It took just that little too long for the menus to come out, the order to be taken and the mains to arrive after the starter. Can't fault her attitude and service it was just she was run off her feet. Food was very tasty. Would be back again.
We enjoy the Roman Empire and are regulars here. Their Monday evening 2-for-1 deals are a bargain, and the food is always excellent and proper Italian.
Service was poor, no mention of specials, had to ask for cutlery and cheese wheel is super slow because everyone orders it. Waited over an hour for our meal. Food was exceptional however.
The restaurant do great food and specials of the day. There are lots of gluten free options. Plus we love the half price Monday deal.
The food was delicious. The service was brilliant even when it was busy and the price was very reasonable. Definitely will be going there again for dinner.
Food was beautiful and cooked to our liking Staff were friendly and smiled Thank you our little Xmas get together was lovely We will be back
Food was wonderful and staff lovely My only comment is as they were very booked on the Monday and it took a little while for the food to come
I've been going to The Roman Empire for over 5 years now & last night was the first "average" meal I've had. My meal had to be remade, and even on the second attempt wasn't right.
Nothing more to say. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. The friendly staff always make you welcome. Will continue to support this fantastic local restaurant.
We had a great evening with great service and great food. A restaurant to be recommended and certainly one we keep coming back to for a consistently lovely evening.
The food was so delicious! And the services were friendly and good manners. I will come back again. I enjoyed the food. I had a lovely time.
Very friendly and accommodating with our child. Tasty food, great location. Would recommend to everyone as have eaten there multiple times and will be back again soon
Service was slow, entree never turned up and Risotto was too salty. Need to find another good local Italian restaurant Roman Empire is not up to scratch anymore, shame.
Good atmosphere; friendly staff; Food was okay. Duck Risotto was a bit salty; Lasagne was a bit dry; coffin bay oysters was delicious; raspberry gelati was great.
My review of Roman Empire Restaurant ant Metropol shopping centre. They have a very good selection of dishes to choose from. I have enjoyed every one that I have been served so far. The young girls there are very friendly and helpful. I like that it is licensed and BYO. I will be going back again.
Great food, great staff and relaxing.... Thank you for a wonderful Friday night. We would thoroughly recommend it to anyone interested in quality Italian food and hospitality
Friendly staff took good care of us, the delicious food satisfied our hunger and it was a great quiet place to catch up with friends.
Great food choice ,good location , easy parking and good service . What's not to like. Plus I'm a regular for coffees and breakfast too.
Excellent main meals and good choices on menu and very attentive staff. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Desserts were especially good. Can't wait to go again.
There was a good menu selection at this restaurant and the food was nice. One of our party had a pizza and said it had too much cheese for her liking, but that was just a personal thing. Prices are reasonable.
The staff is always lovely here, and the food always delicious. The garlic pizza entree is decadently cheesy, and the seafood pasta, while simple, was very fresh and well flavoured. Cannoli dessert was cooked perfectly!
