Trattoria Ilaria

We made the reservations for 7pm. we got there in time but we did not have our dinner till 8:30pm and we had to leave without having dinner! my 12 years old son was very upset because he was looking forward to pasta night! we have been there before and he did enjoy the pasta from there and got very disappointed because after waiting for 1 1/2 hours, had to leave without dinner!

It was a happy atmosphere. The service was great. Nothing was too much trouble. Even turned the air con down as it was a bit cold. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed everything.

Greeted and seated quickly, offered water and menus. Food was amazing, drinks a little slow coming, had to follow up both times for our drinks, they were busy though and all staff were very polite. A pleasant way to end the working week.

The food was pretty average, lacked flavour and seasoning. Meatballs were dry, pasta sauce tasted like a bottle of passata tossed through the spaghetti. One of the main meals was forgotten and did not come out for about 10 minutes after the others came out.

Already have a booking for next week. Another family booking with different people. Can’t wait for them to experience the food, ambience , service and general wonderful experience. I have been many times and tonight was my very best all round. The food was delicious and extremely favoursome. Thank you for a wonderful dinner experience.

I really love this little Italian restaurant, we have been as a family plus group a few times now and overall the food is delicious. I must say though that on our most recent visit with a table of 6, that some issues need fixing. Portion size between 6 pasta dishes was all over the place. The Marinara was superb, the Ragu good; the Cabonarra reasonable and the Meatball just ok. Service was good from one wait staff and ordinary from the other. Value was good and the atmosphere was spot on for Italian in Perth. Will be back but hopefully they don't let things slide from here.

I always wanted to come here. Every time I drive past it looks so inviting, warm and vibrant. I came here with my friends and we were all very happy with our orders. Beautiful food. Thank you for your hospitality and will be back soon

Our dinner was lovely cooked to perfection, compliments to the boys in the kitchen on 23/2/24.

All worked out - service was great, food fine and atmosphere perfect.

The food was great however the waitress we had was quite standoffish and forgot the drinks we had ordered. Customer service was lacking from her however the other waitresses were lovely and fixed her mistakes 🫶

We do like the restaurant in terms of quality of food, pricing, and service. We love the large window front looking over the street. However, the tables are too close together, and because of this the noise levels are too high, making the feel of the place somewhat rushed and uncomfortable. Also, the tables provided for 2 people are too small. All this gives the impression of a place that tries a bit too hard to maximise revenue.

The eggplant entree dish was excellent - full of wonderful flavours and a substantial size. Both pasta dishes were enjoyable authentic style.

friendly staff & amazing food & surprisingly cheap for the quality

Calamari entree was tough and not very tasty. Meatballs had to much breadcrumbs in them. 8 dollars for corkage is rediculous. Service was good and a good atmosphere.

The bubbles were very enjoyable. I understand the calamari was a wee bit chewy. The bruschetta was not toasted as expected, however the pasta dishes were lovely.

Good Italian cuisines. Ordered vegetarian dishes, full of flavor. The fresh egg pasta was delicious and silky, really enjoy it! Will be back!

Table service could improve. For example, the booking of 8 only had seven chairs at the table on arrival, cutlery arrived after the food had been placed on the table. However, the food and value were very good so overall a winning night out.
