Wagyu Ya

As always, our charcoal grill dinner experience was exceptional. This time we tried the A5 wagyu set and it was amazing - the meat just melted in our mouths. Customer service was again great.

Meat were all (any grade) delicious and high quality. We did find the popular foie gras rice dish to be overrated though. Price is on the expensive side.

Very delicious wagyu. Unfortunately, there was no seat for charcoal grilled. Next time, we would like to book seats for charcoal grilled, so we could cook meat by ourselves.

A lovely place to eat at in South Yarra! The meat was high quality and absolutely melted in your mouth! However, we did feel that we were being rushed out as many other reviews have stated. The waiter was friendly and helped service us but we did feel that as soon as a dish was finished, the staff would immediately take it off the table + we were constantly being asked if we were ready to cook out meat but we wanted to enjoy our meal at a slow pace. Still a lovely restaurant to dine at with good food but just be aware - given the price that you pay (around $250-300 for 2 people), you would expect a higher level of service imo

We visited on a Christmas eve and the waiting hour is reasonable. Wished we were given more advice on what to pick from the menu being first time customers in this restaurant.

Excellent service. The quality of wagyu is pretty good. It is extremely tender and juicy. Definitely visit again.

Was a truly satisfying meal. Only disappointment was that the M10 karubi and M10 oyster blade ran out. Second time visiting and still haven't had the chance to try those.

The food was incredibly good but we expected a better service even though it’s busy on Christmas Eve. Hopefully it will improve the next time when we visit again!

The quality of today’s wagyu is not as good as before. The waiters made mistakes by twice, serving the wrong items and forgetting what we ordered. Maybe because it is Christmas Eve, so they are in a hurry.
