Lobster rolls were absolutely amazing! I wouldn't recommend the corn (very bland and hard, not enjoyable). Overall, a great experience. Also very happy we went with the recommendation of Chardonnay with lobster – perfect match.
The service was excellent. The lobster roll and the prawn Po boys were really good - the roll chewy, soft and buttery. There was plenty of lobster in the roll. The marshmallows for dessert were a let down. Would not recommend those.
Great food in a casual atmosphere. Highlight of the meal is different the lobster roll with mayo sauce, make sure you order the pickles too.
The perfect local. A relaxed atmosphere with fantastic food and friendly service. Oysters, lobster and chardonnay is the perfect combination. Save space for cheese or dessert too.
Great food and service. The Maine Lobster rolls are delicious as is the Prawn Po Boy roll. The service is very quick and the food doesn't disappoint.
Watermans is a must to visit. The mouthwatering lobster claw rolls (you have to have the double lobster) , to the sparkling wine, the friendly but unobtrusive wait staff. It's a place you'll want to visit over and over again.
I have wanted to try this place ever since I saw a review in the Herald's Good Living section. My only regret is that I did not do so sooner. The excellent and innovative food options complemented by an interesting range of beverages. The half carafes are a really good way of getting different options for different people. We will be back soon!
The staff were more than friendly, service was quick & efficient, the quality of the wine list & food was excellent....great location too....worth a visit.
The food is great at this restaurant, usually the service is lovely and helpful too however on Saturday 2/4 there was a little too much attitude which really put a bit of a dampener on the night. Judging one's audience is a skill and it missed the mark this time.
Excellent lobster. The service was efficient and friendly. Really liked the view overlooking Llankelly Place. We will certainly return to this outstanding restaurant very soon.
All good. The food is good, and it is not overpriced. Where can you get lobster rolls in Sydney for $18? Something slightly different than yer norm. No complaints
The service was good, staff were friendly and helpful. Food was fantastic, the only downside is that the portion is a bit small. One famous lobster roll is not enough for an adult.
Love New England-style lobster rolls? You'll love this place. Never had one? Go! Great cocktails, friendly & helpful staff, great space, outdoor sitting, open for lunch.
Excellent value , attentive staff, great drinks list including non alcoholic cocktails . A new favourite . Lobster rolls good value and entrees were great .
Great food and amazing personable service, well recommended. Although I ran half an hour late for my booking they accommodated us with another table then moved us after the entree. Cocktails are also as great as the food, and the wine selection is impressive.
Our chowder had little to no seafood and the pate was overseasoned. School prawns were crunchy and tasty. The Lobster rolls (both options) were OK and went well with chips.
great food and great atmosphere. some staffs were very friendly where some were just so so... over all had a great meet up with friends, will visit again.
The food was delicious and nicely presented. I found the wine prices to a be high. I highly recommend the lobster and will definitely visit again before I leave.
Loved the seating outside, and relaxed, friendly service. They were accomodating with a high chair for my friend's son also. Food was fresh, tasty and unpretentious: the highlight being the Lobster Roll (I had the one with melted butter, the other option being Mayo + Celery) which had large chunks of lobster in a decadent soft roll. Reminded me so much of NYC! Thoughtful accompaniments were also really well done, such as the Smoked Trout Paté, Heirloom Tomato Salad, Fries with Lime Aioli, Boiled Egg, and Pickles. The wine list had a number of complimentary whites and uplifting cocktails to choose from. Overall an excellent experience, and would definitely return or recommend.
We loved the food, it was delicious, highly recommend the school prawns...great wine selection, good music and atmosphere. Good value, we will definitely go again.
Great wine list and lovely seafood A+++ a favourite of mine
Delisciously sweet lobster roll with pickle on the side. Attentive service and yummy wine. We were able to get in a little earlier than our booking which was great. Will definitely be visiting again!
Had dinner there for a friends bday. Staff was friendly. Good was great although neither of us really liked the lobster rolls but guess it's an acquired taste. Extra dish of asparagus was brought out in error however staff said enjoy it at no extra pay. Nice cocktail list.
The service is pretty good, and the food is decent. I'd go back for the chips for sure. If you have someone in your party who is unable to have alcohol, they have a great and tasty selection of house-made non-alcoholic drinks.
Service was great - waiter was friendly, helpful, and made great suggestions - even a chippie roll for a 5 year old when there nothing child appealing on the menu (not that we expected it!). Rolls were great and the salads and share plates super tasty. Interior cool and comfortable. Would recommend We loved it!
Lovely staff and great customer service. It's a small, cosy place that's great for a night with friends for a casual dinner. Order the lobster roll (Maine style), you won't regret it!
Service was lovely and just the right amount.... Food was amazing and cocktails were great. Please open one up in the inner west! Thank you
Met a work colleague for a nice relaxing lunch over delicious lobster rolls accompanied by a crisp white wine. Very enjoyable. Friendly staff and an inner city laneway vibe all add to the experience
Great food, great services, great atmosphere. Hidden gem in Sydney at a very reasonable price of AUD 19 each for a lobster roll. Oysters are good as well!!
We enjoyed delicious rosé, lobster rolls and salad, sitting in a comfortable and breezy corridor of Potts Point. Highly recommend for a perfect summer afternoon!
A VERY GOOD MEAL AND TOP SERVICE AS ALWAYS. VERY PLEASANT STAFF SERVING TOP QUALITY FOOD. IT IS SO REFRESHING TO FIND A RESTAURANT WITH INNOVATIVE FOOD. WELL DONE.
Great food, great location, great customer service! The lobster rolls are a must try! The chips are also cooked to perfection and their cocktails are delicious!
Great night. Food is fresh. Staff are easy and helpful. Very impressed with the Lobster Rolls, with everything actually!! Cannot fault our evening. Thank you.
What can I say? We enjoyed our dinner there. Everything was excellent -from food, wine, customer service to the atmosphere. However, would like to see some dessert on the menu.
The food was great. We will definitely be back. The Maine lobster rolls we awesome as was the Trout pate for starters. Friendly and quick service.
Service was great and the food was service in a timely manner. I took my girlfriend for her birthday lunch and it was a great experience.
Awesome! We had a delicious lunch and they even made room for our pram and 3 month old. Super yummy. The lobster tasted fresh and sweet.
Service was friendly, the chilled tomato soup / marinated crab was good. Unfortunately our waitress (probably) made a mistake as we waited over an hour for our lobster rolls after the starters were served. When we eventually got our dish, all our rolls & chips were lukewarm like they've been sitting at the service counter for a long while... As a result the butter had soaked all the way though the bun and you can barely taste the lobster. I'm sure this was a one off, but there are so many other decent restaurants around Potts Point, I don't see myself returning any time soon.
