fantastic food, very tasty. Staff friendly and polite. Great to sit down for a meal without waitress hovering all the time - service was exactly right! Thank you
great red duck curry with the right amount of sneaky heat.
We were able to book online for our group of eight people and pre-order, which was really appreciated, as it was a work lunch (farewell for a colleague), so we did not want to be sitting around waiting for a long time. The food was roundly described as tasty and well-priced and the lunch specials menu a nice bonus! We will definitely be back.
First time we have been here, picked it as it was close to the theatre. Great food and friendly staff, worth a try before a show!
Enjoyed our dinner very much, good service, tasty food and comfortable ambiance. Only one thing was we were extremely thirsty after dinner all night, I'm not sure what ingredients they used but typically that is the reaction in our family after consuming MSG.
Pleased with server's knowledge of which items were gluten free as I have Coeliac disease. Our entree was good, but could have used a bit of spice as it was bland, no doubt they just didn't use any soy sauce instead of the gluten free soy sauce the server indicated they had.
Beautiful food. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The restaurant is not noisy which created a relaxing ambience. We were a table of four and we each enjoyed our meals. The soups hit the spot on a cold day followed by Green and red curries. Yum! A lovely Sunday lunch. Thank you.
The service staff were friendly and attentive . We were able to order entre first while we considered the menu. The restaurant is very clean and the food is excellent with crisp ,fresh vegetables.
Yummy food - had a bit of difficulty making it clear what my order was but they fixed it quickly. Good food, speedy, pleasant service. We'll be going back
We went for dinner on a Friday evening fairly early so it wasn't very busy, but started to fill up during our meal service so it is best to book. The all female staff that evening were very helpful and attentive, we ordered tea with our meal and had the plate of mixed entrees followed by the chefs special rice dish, all the food was beautifully presented and fresh, will definitely be back
Meals were very nice. Shared 5 dishes and all were nice. Service with a smile was excellent from our waitress restaurant clean and parking easy.
it was a great night with amazing food, very good service, and nice staff. Definitely coming back soon, thank you very much for a great time
Welcoming staff, attentive, good service traditional Thai style atmosphere and delicious wide selection of food available Everything we had was top notch and great value
Very nice, simple asian food with friendly staff. Even though it was nice, I found out a bit pricey compared to quality of the food.
Friendly service, good choice menu, tasty food but three pieces of duck in the red curry was not really enough and chunky chicken with potato tricky to eat with a fork.
Great food and great service. I have been there before so recommended my friend. She also loved the food and service. Will definitely dine there again.
We both had a starter plate as we thought this would lend an insight into more than one dish. VERY POOR. Fish cakes were small thin bits of overcooked rubber we couldn't cut with the spoon we had. Prawn in crab cakes also like rubber and over-deep fried. Treasure pursed were nice, crisp on the outside and ok on the inside. As were the spring rolls, but the cabbage was the same length as the whole thing, you had to have sharp bites to sheer it off to get it into your mouth. Having said that, the service was excellent and the wine list very nice and reasonably extensive. But we did't try any of the other food so this is a little bit one sided. I believe in constructive criticism not complaints. So I hope someone enlightens their chef. The place was packed out, it was lunchtime on a Wednesday, so perhaps the non-fried food was much nicer.
Yum Yai has a very pleasant atmosphere, very attentive staff and a great selection of authentic Thai food. We will be back again, and again.
Food is YUM. Five people, five absolutely clean plates. Staff are helpful and friendly - venue is clean and well spaced. Nothing negative to say at at all.
Lovely restaurant, service was great. Staff were very attentive and the food was very nice. Have dined here several times and we will be back.
Excellent food. They made an error taking the initial order but fixed it up as soon as they could so we had to wait for one of the starters. After that the service was good.
As usual excellent food and service, with the place full for lunch. It isn't always fully booked for nothing. A good atmosphere, clean and efficient.
Delicious food and very reasonable prices. Lovely staff who were extremely busy still made sure everyone was served on time before the show at the theatre. We will come back again to spend more time on dessert!
Delicious tasty food with reasonable prices and good serving sizes. Friendly staff and now open lunch on weekend with lunch specials. This will be our new go to Thai place :)
Service was good and time taken to present meal was good for getting to a theatre performance in good time. Food was magnificent. Ambience leaves a little to be desired.
Went as part of a group for dinner. Vegetarians are catered for no worries. Food was great and good value for money. Will definitely go again.
Yum Yai Thai Kitchen have excellent value lunch specials and good a selection of vegetarian dishes to choose from as well. Nice venue to catch up with friends.
Was lovely food. Service was great. There was a large table next to us and the drinks came out later but no other complaint. Delicious
Great food, really fresh and not greasy. Staff very lovely and attentive. Was in and out with in the our which suited our requirements perfectly.
we booked for 5.30 & were on our way home by 6.30 after waiting 15mins for a late party member. The food was excellent & service good - took a takeaway menu with us.... YUM.
This is our third time dinning in this restaurant as a family. Everyone loved the food especially the Barramundi fish with Thai salad. Wish for more selections of Thai desserts!
Presentation of food was excellent and well supported by quality of restaurant and staff. Well worth a return visit to explore the menu further. Nearby parking was an advantage
Food was nice, but unfortunately they did bring us one dish which was wrong and had to re do it..... which meant we had to wait longer....
Service was extremely good! Food was tasty and very well priced. An overall pleasurable dining experience. We would certainly recommend the Yum Yai Thai Kitchen.
The food were great and the staffs were accommodating. The ambiance is good too. Over all, the place is peaceful and the choices of food (meat, fish, and veggies) are reasonable. The dishes were not as spicy hot as the authentic Thai food, but just right.
Once again my family enjoyed so much the food that were on our table. We particularly liked the Yum Pla, which was Barramundi fish with yummy salad! Beef Massaman was really good. Can't wait to go back again...
I have eaten at this restaurant several times and also ordered take-away a couple of times. the food is always tasty and the staff is very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant.
It was a pleasant dinner. We were served with delicious dishes without too much waiting. The Thai Basil sweet chili vege was our favorite and the Choo Chee fish fillets was also very fragrant.
