The cottage is charming and attractively set up. However, overall we were disappointed with our brunch experience. Firstly, after battling the limited free parking (our problem I guess not yours - but the parking station added an extra $10 - $15 each to our outing costs) we found the service quite slow. In addition one egg dish needed to be sent back to be cooked further as much of the egg ‘white’ was still clear. Then one of our group of four did not receive her order till 10 minutes after the others were served, despite all dishes having been ordered at the same time. When the 4th meal did arrive it was in a takeaway pack and had to be returned to be plated, resulting in a further 10 minute wait. We left somewhat frustrated and agreed that despite the lovely setting we will probably not be risking a return visit.
Very busy day that coffee was suspended at lunchtime & I think short staff. Didn’t help witnessing some very demanding customers. But I will definitely go back.
Great place to eat before a concert and best to book ahead to avoid queuing.
GREAT PLACE TO GO BEFORE A CONCERT AT OLYMPIC PARK.
Great food, great service! Sooo absolutely return again, thumbs up!
Cruisey place for a few drinks before a gig. Burger was mid to average but maybe because I was a bit drunk it tasted pretty decent. I was sad because my bacon was half raw and my cheese was not melted. I mean it is burger 101 for. 10/10 burg. The Sydney burg scene is off the hook and it’s vital to give 100% in your execution.
Great location and atmosphere.Food was good from a affordable menu and service friendly 👍
Great food, speedy and friendly service on a busy night for them
Event night and the service timing and food was great
Slow cooked pie was delicious although my injection of gravy never came. Staff was extremely polite and eager to please.
Good food and atmosphere. Perfect spot for pre-show dinner. Relaxed feel.
Nice atmosphere, good service pre-show dinner - the only downfall was no coffee service.
Quick service, they handled the pre show booked out crowd very well and the food wasn’t compromised. Polite and friendly staff, thank you.
Rushed in and out, was pressured to order food because ‘they were getting busy’, even though the outside seating area was only half full.
Enjoyed the meal, the atmosphere and a great location for a pretty show dinner.
Great easy food, quick and tasty. Fabulous location and friendly staff.
Great food, great service, beautiful surroundings and friendly staff. Thanks!

Great food and service! Food came out quickly on a busy Saturday night.
Packed out.....very glad i made a reservation. My steak was cooked to perfection. Friendly yet unobtrusive staff.
My mother and I really would have loved a cup of coffee but we were told that you no longer serve coffee - you might lie to rethink this.
Great pre concert , pre sports venue for a bite to eat and a drink.
Great location good service quite a limited menu but good food
Efficient service, great atmosphere, friendly staff and patrons, nice food.

Great service, warm atmosphere & lovely food! Thank you 👏👏👏
Great pre State of Origin option. Well organised for big crowd and good value pre-game burger.
Great service and great atmosphere , perfect. Music bit too loud
Great spot for a quality feed in a relaxed environment at a good price. Choice of indoor or outdoor dining.
Always a fantastic option for a drink before the footy or show.
best pre-footy venue at olympic park if you prefer music to a screen
Food was ok, customer service was good. Overall experience average.
Food was good as was the service. It was a little chilly next to the door is my only small issue.
We (6 adults and 4 children) visited Abattoir blues for brunch on Mothers day12th May. What a wonderful time the family had. The food was delicious and the service and atmosphere were fantastic. Great coffee. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were very friendly and attentive. We would highly recommend Abattoir Blues. We will be going back!!
We enjoyed a delicious Mother’s Day breakfast in the courtyard. Food and service were both wonderful.
The food was good and I loved the outdoor dining area!
Was a quiet night, but enjoyed quick service, quality meal at a good price and nice place.
We booked our reservation online, 5 days in advance only to be told when we arrived that due to a private function of 200 guests, we could not order lunch. We were so disappointed. We were offered the breakfast menu but that did not suffice since we were there to enjoy lunch. It was a pretty poor situation, surely the restaurant would have known 5 days previously that they had a major function planned and could have provided prior warning to other customers.
Great atmosphere and good value food and drinks. I would go back
