The best venue to eat when at the Olympic park. Sitting in the lovely garden setting was so restful. Great food and service.

Good vibes, chill tunes and cold beer. Could not ask for more. Make sure you book a table when events are on as it gets busy quickly. Recommend the cheeseburger.

Very busy with all pre concert goers. Ordering process seemed a little odd, the girl who took order also was trying to get us drinks as well, which delayed process. Recommend you get her to take order and others to get drinks. Otherwise food delicious staff friendly, great spot and great cafe

Booked at table for pre Red Hot Chilli Peppers. Glad I did as the place was packed. That being said all the staff were very friendly, service was quick & efficient considering how many patrons there were and the burgers were excellent. Would booked here again for pre show dinner

We attended the Cafe for breakfast on Australia Day having travelled from Tamworth to meet with family from Hervey Bay and Newcastle, we were a party of ten. Firstly our meals all came out across a lengthy period of time, the first having finished as some were still receiving, thankfully we had not waited for all meals to be present before eating. Then our youngest daughters meal was not received at all. Upon investigation it was not ordered yet the waitress remembered my husband saying the meal to her when placing the order. Then when our daughter meal was bought to her 2 poached eggs and bacon, it came with hollandaise sauce, not ordered. So the meal was then again returned. Finally when her meal was received all other party members had well and truly finished their meals. She was then embarassed and distressed she had to eat alone. All we got was a passing apology when error was discovered. This entire issue dampened what should have been a wonderful family reunion. We wont be back when next in the vicinity for shows or sporting events.

Helpful friendly staff and great food. They were able to provide us with quick service even during a busy time, when there was an event on at the near by arena.

Good value for money. Efficient service gave us plenty of time to enjoy our meal and drinks before attending Keith Urban Concert. Wiil definitely go back

There was a long blonde hair (I'm not blonde) in the salad accompanying my salad. After that I couldn't finish it. All meals ordered the same time by our group did not arrive together. Four of us ate ahead of the 5th person.

Very slow service, it tool 45min to get some burgers. Also it was a hot day and we booked inside, it was very very hot inside, I sweat less at the gym.

Great atmosphere and burgers. The service was great too. The outside band was a bit loud to have a conversation but the courtyard is really lovely.

Good hearty food prior to the Shania Twain concert. Unfortunately we were seated next to a continuously moving line of people waiting to order food which was somewhat disconcerting.

A quaint cafe restaurant near the Novotel...great location, the food was nice. Have to order at the counter. Simple menu and the food arrived very quickly. Good place to go before an event in the Olympic precinct.

It was an awesome place to have drinks and a very yummy dinner before seeing Bon Jovi. Cool band New South Trio were on too.

Great little restaurant tucked away and hidden from general public. I have food allergies and the chef was on the ball and accommodating. Would definitely be heading back there for future events at Homebush

Very happy with the service at Abattoir Blues. Rang to confirm our booking and table was ready on arrival. Quick food service, drinks were nice and cold.

No complaints about the food. However, service was slow. 10 minutes in the line to order, then I was told up to 45 minutes for a burger to be ready! Also, the regular prices are jacked up around 35% because of an Event in Olympic Park. Not sure why an event on a weekday would increase the restaurant costs, so I believe it's pure profiteering. Convenient location and better atmosphere than The Brewery.

Awesome food, chic ambiance, busy on weekends with the prices a little higher compared to weekdays.

Loved the atmosphere, however the food (nachos) were so dry which was a let down. Husband ordered gravy for his schnitzel as an extra and was lucky to be 2 tablespoons on the side.

Great friendly service on a very busy night. Great selection of burgers and pub type meals. Perfect spot for a pre show meal. Definitely make a booking.

As always good service and tasty food. it was very crowded with a group booking pre-Cher concert, but it just made it more lively. We had booked outside but we were lucky they could move us inside due to rain.

The service was quick considering there was an event on. The food was great. There was a great atmosphere with a DJ outside. The staff were super friendly and had a great attitude.

Undiscovered gem of Homebush Bay! Fantastic food and reasonably priced. You can’t go wrong heading to the Abbotoir Blues. This place will become my new regular when in this part of the world.

Welcoming, great service, tasty burgers, awesome location never knew it was here! Good atmosphere. Beers could be slightly colder & I prefer thick cut chips not shoestring, but overall we were happy with our food & the service.

Abattoir Blues is easy to book and works well for before an event at Olympic park - the staff were friendly and great food, too!
