Lovely bright fresh flavours, We still love it after 6 visits. Chapel Street Windsor's best kept secret! The avocado parfait is an absolute creamy dream.
Great restaurant! Easy to get into, great service, even better food!! Each plate was so different and tasted amazing! Much better restaurant than half of the places on Chapel Street
We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The atmosphere was good. Service very prompt and professional. Food was absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely be returning as soon as possible.
The food had some much flavour, we had the 8 course menu. staff very friendly. I would highly recommend eating at Amok. Also well priced.
Amazing! So many flavours and a good variety. Well priced. Friendly staff. It was my second time - took my mother-in-law for Mother's Day - my in-laws LOVED it.
Delicious food & great service from staff ! There were so many dishes to choose from. Look forward to going back & trying other items! Was too full for dessert this time...
Being Cambodian, it's always lovely coming here. Hidden gem that I am glad I got introduced to ! Food is amazing as well as the great service :)
If Amok Restaurant were in Hong Kong, it could easily be awarded a one Michelin star for its creativity and execution. The food is elegant and honest. The desserts here are what you would find in a three Michelin starred restaurant in Hong Kong. Brilliant.
the food here is consistently good and the service is excellent - it is by far the best asian restaurant on chapel street. highly recommended.
Amok is one of my favourites - really great food at a reasonable price. Lovely people. Everything on the menu sounds and is delicious. Excellent value banquet. And, you can BYO for a reasonable corkage charge.
Amazing food, great service. The salmon and 12hr beef are exceptional!! Music could be better. It's so nice that it's BYO ... makes going out so much cheaper!!
Cannot speak highly enough of the food - it is delicious! The staff are friendly and prompt. Will definitely be back for more Cambodian cuisine
Amok was an amazing experience. A group of girlfiends and I booked a table for 8. We were really impressed by the service and wine list and super impressed by the quality and promptness of dinner being served. The food was incredible and the service, wine and ambience fabulous. My new favourite.
Very goos only thing thing to remark is that the food came out a bit quick. All round good service, so far Amok does not disappoint ever!
We loved every mouthful of the chef's tasting menu. Brilliant aromas spice and textures combining into a taste sensation. The atmosphere was perfect with the staff proving brilliant service. We'll be back.
Beautiful, fresh flavours. Service with a smile. Lovely ambience. The fish in betel leaves, stuffed squid, soft shell crab bun and their self made chilli jam were all so good. Already looking forward to going back.
Amazing food, beautiful atmosphere, Great friendly service. Highly recommend the banquet as it has an amazing selection of what the restaurant offers. Loved it will definitely be back.
Great service, and the food was amazing. We absolutely recommend the Chef's Sharing Menu to get a taste of everything. We can't wait to go back.
Really delicious food and friendly service, at a reasonable price - have been to Amok at least four times previously and it never disappoints us.
First time dining at Amok. The restaurant has a rather small cosy dining area. Nicely presented food however lacking spices and heat for us, service was good.
Staff were very welcoming; we had the set menu but as I don't eat seafood that was no problem! All of the food was delicious. Good size serves with plenty of tasty food! Licensed & BYO wine @ $10 per bottle. Highly recommended.
Excellent Asian flavours in this busy quirky Chapel St gem. Service is friendly & efficient. The Pork stuffed Squid is a standout dish, the Duck curry is fabulous and Pork ribs too..
Excellent food and friendly, efficient service - could not fault it! We opted for the chef's selection which worked really well for us! Very happy!!
Great food and excellent service. Had the soft shell crab, the sauce packs a punch...loved it. The curry duck was full of flavour and the dessert of avocado parfait finished the night beautifully. Amok takes cambodian food to a whole new level! Would recommend and will definitely be back!
Delicious fresh food, packed with many different flavours. And whilst it wasn't the same food experience we have had in Cambodia, it was so interesting
The food was so full of flavor and incredibly well priced. They also take reservations and in my opinion the quality, flavour and service far exceeded neighboring restaurants with wait times of an hour plus. Will definitely return.
Food was great, lovely and fresh. Service pretty good. Only negative was the horribly uncomfortable stools, definitely will opt for a table with chairs next time
Amazing food, traditional flavours with a modern twist. Noisy atmosphere but still able to hold a conversation. Restaurant is tiny - must book. Will definitely recommend
Great food and service. I was not sure what to expect but I was delighted on all dimensions. The dessert was simply heavenly. Will go back for sure when back in town.
Most upmarket Cambodian restaurant in Melbourne with a good mix of traditional Khmer cuisine and Australian modern cooking, Comfortable dining experience. I would recommend it.
Great food and friendly staff, we got the banquet thing and my needs for gluten free were well catered and my partner did not miss out just because I couldn't eat it. Very cold sitting directly under air con.
Wonderful flavoursome food and great service. Would highly recommend. Really enjoyed everything we tried and the waitress was helpful in helping decide what to have - as we wanted most f what was on the menu!
The food here is fantastic. Fresh ingredients & a wonderful balance of flavours in every dish. The eight course chefts sharing menu is a bargin at $54 pp. Also great that you can BYO your own wine for $10 corkage per bottle.
Really loved this food and will certainly be back. Shared 6 dishes between 4 of us which was just just the right amount of people for the serving sizes for the share plates and mains. The school prawn salad and slow cooked pork ribs were standouts but all was great. Friendly, prompt service too.
Loved this restaurant, food, service and price all exceptional. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We'll definitely b back on our next trip to Melbourne.
Amazing food, great service. Just brilliant flavours that you do not normally get with modern asian cuisine, yet maintaining a distinctively Vietnamese/Cambodian palate. Loved loved loved the duck curry and grilled squid. Def going back to try the rest of the menu!
Wow what a great place, I heard it was good but was even better than expected. The zucchini flower and egg plant chips were knockout. Defo will be going back to go through that menu. Chris
First time trying modern Cambodian food in Melbourne and found it delightful. Great service and waitress was quite attentive. Food came up quick and tasted great. Would definitely come back again.
Very attentive service. Food came out in good timing and was delicious; everything was reasonably priced too. Highly recommended - we will definitely be returning soon
Great tasting food totally unexpected. I live just around the corner but never knew it existed. Definitely will recommend to friends and go there more often
