Walked past Amok a few times & finally made it. Food was fresh & delicious. The service was good. Plan to return and try a few more of the dishes
Great experience to share with a group of friends. Lovely flavours in all 8-10 shared menu & great value, we left feeling comfortably full. Highly recommend.
Magnificent food, refreshing menu and attentive staff. Melbourne has a lot of fusion cooking but this really stands out. Will be back for round two!
Delicious food, very fresh and presented beautifully. The staff were friendly and very attentive - water and drinks topped up without noticing! I would highly recommend and will certainly be back to try some more of the menu
Overall good, duck dish seemed overlooked and dried out. Noise from a large table close by made for an unpleasant dining experience. Service friendly and good.
Fantastic food and great service. Love the BYO wine policy ($10 corkage). Highly recommend, we will be back.
Great food that's original and different. We had the duck curry and some wonderful entrees.A great place highly recommended. Try the Cambodian food in Windsor Alex
The food is fantastic - the tasting plates sensational - spicy, refreshing, vibrant - the chefs banquet at $49 a head is best value in town
Amazing food and excellent service. Very accommodating. We had the chef's choice menu between a vego and a meat eater and everything was delicious! Would recommend to anyone looking for something a bit different.
The food was great as always. We can really recommend the tasting menu. It is absolutely delicious. We will definitely go there again in the future.
Friendly , efficient waiting staff and a chef who really knows what he is doing with South East Asian influenced modern cuisine. Great value chef's choice menu at $50 a head.
The Australian recently reviewed this as Chin Chin without the queues. It is a great restaurant with friendly service and fabulous innovative food. The stuffed squid and duck curry are standouts as is the prawn with chocolate bacon bun.
Highly recommended, Cambodian food with a slight twist. Really well presented and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and not over crowded, able to chat over food!
Great variety on the menu, the staff were friendly and our food tasted fantastic. A hidden gem in Chapel Street, down the Windsor end. Definitely recommended.
Amazing food - incredibly flavoured and fresh this restaurant is on par with some of the best restaurants I've eaten in for both food and service. Will always be one of my favourites!
Great food and service. We've been several times and the tasting menu is brilliant - each course is delicious. Will be coming back again very soon!
The food is excellent - really tasty, beautiful presentation and great value. Very friendly and helpful service and definitely worth returning to this great find.
Unassuming place with friendly staff and really good food - much better in fact than some of the more hyped up places down the road from it.
Excellent service, food was amazing! Can't wait to go back! Atmosphere and fresh food made for a great night out with the misses, will be back soon!
Every dish was tasty: pork , vegetable curry and especially a cauliflower dish unlike any other. Cosy ambiance inside although didn't look special from the street. Will go again and have the chefs selection to share.
Beautiful food, great service and environment. We opted not to go with the banquet as it didn't offer the dishes we wanted to get. The stuffed squid is definitely a must.
Great spot - delicious and very well priced . Interesting combos of flavours and food that worked splendidly. Would recommend you check out. Thank you.
Fantastic food, great service and really well priced. BYO is always a bonus too! We had a really great time! We'll be back for sure.
We had a lovely night and the owner was -as always- present and checking throughout the meal if we were happy with everything. The scotch filet is unbeatable!
We really lover it. Estethically a simple place specially from the outside, good service and exceptional good food every dish a discovery and honest pricing. Reccomended
Excellent food, the salads were so so fresh. Both the beef and calamari, I forgot to breathe while eating, the food was gone in 2 minutes. Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended, Cambodian is something a little different in Melbourne too.
Always delicious! One of my new favourite restaurants amidst so much choice in the popular dining precinct. Absolutely love the cauliflower side and the combinations of flavours put into every dish!
Love this place! Food is fresh and delicious and the service always comes with a smile. Chicken ribs are a real highlight. Highly recommend it!
Modern Cambodian food. Very tasty and well presented. This is 3rd visit and we will be back again. Delicious food. Friendly service that is efficient.
We love Amok restaurant, and have been four times .We have not eaten everything we want to try on the menu yet. Great innovative Cambodian cuisine, not noisy, and you can book. Yay!
This was our fourth time to Amok - love this little gem! Great food, service, BYO which is rare these days! Love Amok! We'll be back.
Great food and service. The soft shell crab and watermelon salad were the stand outs for me. Really innovative with a perfect balance of flavours. Yum!
AMOK is surely one of the best restaurants on Chapel Street! Very creative dishes and unique flavors. Highly recommended! Try the duck curry or calamari salad.
Three creative, delicious courses where the colours and flavours were spread amazingly across the plate, followed by a surprise dessert, compliments of the chef to help us celebrate our anniversary. The service was wonderful. Cool music in the background helped create a fantastic vibe. What more could you ask for? It was just great. Thanks so much. See you again!
We love Vietnamese food so were interested in trying Cambodian. Happy to recommend with fresh, good flavours. Good service. The meal they warned us would be spicy was absolutely fine. So, unless you are super spicy intolerant, should be okay. Maybe a little more saucy than Vietnamese but definitely worth a try. Not cheap, but tasty and worth a look. We will be back.
🍴👍 food and service very nice, a bit on the higher cost for a 'quiet night out'.
Great variety of food and aussie wines. Atmosphere great and friendly service. Second time there and definitely go back again. Online booking service worked perfectly.
Great even with larger groups! The chefs menu is an amazing experience every time!
Amok Restaurant in Windsor is the best kept secret in Chapel St., serving Cambodian cuisine. You can book, and the noise factor is low, unlike some other hot restaurants in the area!
Fantastic as always, birthday special was great! Favourite restaurant on Chapel Street by far!
