We order 2 Seafood Platters for 2 and found them to be underwhelming- if the platter is supposed to be for 2, why are only 3 prawns and 3 oysters given. One platter initially didn’t have the oysters. Plus, the “side” salad was a few pieces of lettuce and a bit of tomato. The previous platter which was just for one was so much better. The ribs that were ordered were very dry and the coleslaw that was included was missing (on both orders)- we had to ask for the coleslaw. It just seems like the standard of the food has dropped quite significantly. Having said that, the staff (as usual) were polite, friendly and helpful. We used to go to the Amstel often, but now just not sure if we would go back again.

We have been going to Amstel for a long time the food and service have always been amazing but this time the food was terrible I took 2 bites of my food and couldn’t eat it as it had absolutely no flavour.

Every meal ( there were 6) was terrible. Chicken was dry with NO camembare, the ribs were tough ... all 6 of hated our meals and no meals were finished. When i complained no one cared and was still charged full price with no apology. Never coming back.

The food was good, better than in the past. But, the wine list is very average - the chardonnay was very poor and the pinot grigio was terrible. This has been the case for some time now. The club needs a new wine supplier.

The meal I received was so small that I asked the staff if i had been served an entree size instead of the main. They said no. 3 tiny prawns and a very small serve of calamari. The majority of the plate was oily prawn cracker. Not a good experience.

Great service, tasty food although the brisket was a little dry, the sauce from the Mongolian beef however fixed that up toot sweet and the roast potatoes were a sensory experience, not at all roasted but somehow mashed on the inside of their jackets. Over all, 9/10 dining experience. Will be back again.
