At Fernando's

We love pizza and are pretty fussy, but we ate the best pizza that’s ever passed through our lips here!! Absolutely perfect base, fair toppings and amazing amount of sauce! This was backed up with seceral scrumptious pastas, none of which we could fault! Service was attentive, ambience nice and incredibly well priced. Think we just found ourselves a new ‘go to restaurant’!

Great place to grab dinner before or after a movie - excellent service, great food, great prices. Been twice and I'll go back again. Give it a go

We had the zucchini flower special - I dint believe it said it was deep fried - was rather greasy . My seafood pasta was over cooked and accompanied by Parmesan and chilli oil which for a so called authentic Italian restaurant I thought was poor - never in Italy would they offer Parmesan with seafood! However my friends fish special was delicious she said . Service was ok - wouldn’t rave about it

We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Fernando's - The Zuchini pasta with pine nuts was excellent, along with the pizza. Very good. Service was very good too. Cheers, ruth

My experience was one of delight. My friends and i were very pleased at the friendly way we were greeted and were given a choice of sitting inside or outside. We chose outside and we loved it. The food was brought quickly and was delicious. The staff were very pleasant. Loved the tiramisu for dessert. The 20% discount for movie goers was great as well. Keep up the great work. Olga

Always a great meal, exceptionally tasty exception service and vale for money. The pasta pizza all you can watch special for $20/he is unbeatable. Portions are generous and authentic Italian food.

We had a birthday party at Fernando's, all of us had a great time the staff and service were great and the food is also great, we are definitely going back thank you to the staff.

We always love eating at At Fernado's the food is superb - try the spaghetti marinara, you'll never want to eat it anywhere else again!

The place has amazing food and an amazing atmosphere. Tried the beef cheeks ravioli and they were amazing. Highly recommend anyone looking for some good Italian food

The food was good. The service was a bit slow at first but greatly improved throughout the night. I personally loved the beef cheek ravioli :)

The food was lovely, however the waitresses ruined the night as they kept on bumping into the seat even after we moved the table 20cm!

The venue is a terrace house building. It has an inside dining area and an outside area too. There is a wide range of Italian meals on the menu which would suit any diners whatever their preferences. If you sign up to their mailing list, you can take advantage of the offer of a free meal on your birthday, subject to conditions.

Our experience was great - we had drinks first at our table and then our waiter took our order and did so in the most gracious way.

Excellent fast service and delicious food! I had a group of people for Sunday lunch, the server was most helpful and I would absolutely recommend going.

Enjoyed the food and the scenery throughly. Amazing pasta and antipasto board!

Disappointing compared to previous visits. Both entres - prawns in tomato based sauce and eggplant parmigiana were a mish-mash and the prawns had been defrosted so lacked texture, although the sauces were tasty. Spatchcock was slightly burned, although tasty nevertheless, but served on a bed of tomatoes only (not the usual full salad base). They had run out of several of their white wines and the selection is small compared to the reds. Service was excellent. Top marks to the waiter.

Food and service was fabulous. We had a short time frame and there was no sense of a rushed feeling by the staff at all.

I had enjoyed the food and the staff were very nice and helpful, will be back again in future as i can't resist their yummy pastas and pizzas

Food and service were excellent. But .... you would expect that at the particular price point that they would have something other than plastic salt and pepper grinders.

As usual enjoyed dinner At Fernando's. Great selection of starters and salads. A long list of delicious mains plus a choice of pizzas. One big advantage it's BYO with reasonable corkage. Strongly recommends it.

Meals were enjoyed by all; a very busy night for the staff but they were efficient and attentive. Delicious birthday cake. Will be coming back!

Lovely Italian restaurant. Nice vibe and good food. Not too fancy and not too casual. They have deals for the movies across the road too!

Food is always the best, service is good, Tuesday’s are often busy (all you can eat). I go to at Fernando’s in Leichhardt quite a bit!!

Food Average. Mains came out before we had finished starters. Noisy in restaurant and loud music upstairs = poor atmosphere. Some of the waitresses gave poor service.

I had a birthday voucher and was treated like a special customer. I also have some food intolerances and every effort was made to accommodate my intolerances. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our food and the service.

Second time there a lovely experience both times and Quite a surprise as to how large and welcoming and cosy..We were celebrating my wife Sue's 70th Birthday our four guests loved it...Thanks David and Sue

Service was great. Other dishes that people had were nice. My dish was a little basic. The pasta dish was tasty but other than the prawns sitting on top it was a bit basic. Not much other than just pasta. Also a young group for 16th Birthday was there. A little noisey. Regards Debbie

Friendly service and tasty food that hit the spot on a cold night. Everybody at the table were happy with their meal and the price.

We booked for 6pm on a Friday evening. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. After we ordered there was a steady stream of Italian people which clearly showed this place must be good. Pizza was great, the base is really good. Asparagus ravioli also excellent. The vegetarian risotto sauce was a bit salty but the ingredients were fine.

THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. THE WINE LIST WAS LIMITED. WOULD GO BACK IF IN THE AREA. PROBABLY SLIGHTLY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT I RECEIVED.

Average at best. - Limited wine list and the only Italian wine was unavailable - We were told that the bottle we wanted could be sourced and chilled in time, but nobody actioned this - Entrees came out with the mains which meant most of the second entree (garlic pizza) went to waste - We were told we would be given a stand for our garlic pizza, which never arrived - We weren’t given fresh cutlery for our mains - Our side plates were removed from the table while the entrees were still there so even if we wanted to eat them, it would’ve been awkward - After receiving our first drinks, we were not offered another drink for the remainder of the evening before we decided to leave - Food was passable but stodgy and not very authentic - We were ignored by a waitress as we entered the venue. No greeting. Nothing. In a competitive market like Sydney this just isn’t good enough I’m afraid

My family and I had a lovely a'la Carte lunch on Mother's Day at Fernandos. I was so pleased to find a restaurant that didn't have a set menu for this event since our family are not big eaters.... We had three different main courses that were all delicious ( much to the credit of the cooks on such a busy day where every table in the restaurant was occupied). The risotto, the salt'in bocca veal and the chicken dish were exceptional.. Service was good and the atmosphere congenial..some of the customers became rather lound as the wine and the lunch progressed but quite acceptable on an occasion such as this.

Great pasta & wine. Lovely service. Accomodating of our children. Stuffed zucchini flowers were delicious. Kids meals were gobbled up. Open fire so it was toasty warm inside

attentive and friendly service, enjoyed the veal and warm chocolate pudding. Lamb cutlets looked great too. Would definitely go again: esp. if celebrating an event or special occasion.
