The food is always exceptional , I had the Beef and Guinness pie 🥧 and it was amazing !! 2 of our group had the Crab Spaghetti and demolished the lot !!

Meal was good, service was a bit slow, was offered a menu for desert, but it took so long for the waitress to come back & take our order, that we decided not to have desert.

We had a table of 6 and everybody’s food was lovely!

The food itself was good but we were forgotten after the dessert menu was dropped off. It was disappointing as we had to leave for an event we were booked into and we were further disappointed to get no apology when we commented to the staff member.

Just had excellent main meals. Fish and salads nicely presented and great taste. Blue crab pasta very tasty and light. Mild chilli was balanced with crab.

Disappointing, had good meals here before but this time the price had increased significantly and the size of the meals very small . My husband had a tiny portion of fish . Not happy and we will not return

Food was lovely however the kangaroo was cold and was sent back to the kitchen. It came back to the table hot and was very tender. Can I suggest you serve the meals on warm plates

Asked for a quiet corner when I booked online and was delighted when I got it; great food, good service but not enough wait staff.

It seemed to be heavily booked by men. They were very noisy, not the hotels fault.

The delicious food was unfortunately let down by very poor service and I had to get up from the table 3 times to follow up requests for drinks and food. It spoiled an evening with interstate visitors who were revisiting an old haunt. Disappointing!

Everything was pleasant except the hot sun beating down on us as we ate our lunch. There didn't seem to be another choice for the 6 of us except to sit under the skylights. Can you not screen them in some way.

Nice old 1838 hotel with modern extensions. Staff were very pleasant and obliging and the food was good.

Food was great, service was great. The only negative was the noise from the bar, but if you sit farther away I think that wouldn't be a problem. I'll definitely go back.

My wife and I had a great feed. My wife schnitzel was first rate and my steak was brilliant. The service was good. If my steak had a bit more food on the plate I would have scored them a 6.
