We had a really poor experience at Criniti’s. We booked the place with such an excitement for my daughter’s 3rd birthday but received huge disappointment in return. Every time I spoke to the staff over the phone regarding my phone, they seemed to rush and quickly get off the phone. I booked cannoli tower (because of the high BYO charges on bringing our own cake) and balloons to be setup on the table. I wasn’t told that cannoli tower need to be reconfirmed on visiting the restaurant. We had to wait at least 45 minutes for it. On arriving I saw no balloons setup on the table which was another disappointment. Later on our food was being messed up. We kept getting incorrect order. We got non-veg bruschetta platter when asked for just vegetarian platter. Then we had wrong pizza. One of the staff member Elise tried to make our journey as smooth as possible. But the restaurant cannot run with one person. It requires the whole team to come together and work in cooperation. The food is quite expensive which is not really a concern for us as long as we get good service in return. Me and my husband have been working in customer service for years and definitely understand customer requirements. I may not be visiting the place again or recommend it to anyone.

Atmosphere was fun and reasonable price. We enjoyed the 2 metre pizza. It certainly grabbed other's attention when brought to our table.

Ordered burger, the buns were a horrible black bread, the meat was over cooked and rubbery. Thats not how beef should be cooked. The Chicken Parma was bad, dry, no ham and had a bland taste. Forgot to bring out chips. Whats up with the toilets where men and women have to share? This is outrageous. Felt uneasy. Waiters didn't know where they were serving food.

Meals were nice. Vegan salad bowl was around 90%spinach leaves which was quite disappointing

We had a group of 5 order our meals. 4 of our meals arrived in a timely manner. There wasa salad we were still waiting on. We had 2 late arrives to the group who then also ordered a meal. We asked where the salad was several times and was told they would check. The late arrivals then received their meals yet the salad had still not arrived. We waited at least 45 minutes before the salad arrived, by this point everyone else at the table had finished their meal.

The food quality is no longer what it used to be a year ago. I’m not sure if they have changed chefs. This used to be my go to restaurant for a fantastic feed but now I can’t eat it. Very disappointed

It was a shame that we only had 2 hours for our sitting as no time for dessert as super busy and was rushed out the door, considering it was my daughters birthday very sad we missed out on dessert.

Huge menu to choose from and the food was tasty. A bit on the expensive side and they do charge a 10% service charge on Sundays.

We always dine at Criniti’s when we visit Melbourne. This was by far the worst quality food we have ever received. Our godfather pizza had black bubbled crust around it and was so dry. We didn’t want to complain but it was the biggest waste of $95 ever. Has probably put us off going there next time we visit

Crinitis is an exceptional restaurant. The food and service are fantastic. Can't wait to book again.

Booking for five people. Ordered a 1m pizza with three toppings - delicious. Also ordered an individual dish (Kangaroo) - meat was a bit tough. Service was good but noise levels made it difficult to hear conversation around our table. Restaurant was full on a Monday dinner service so reservations are recommended.

It was ok, though food is not worth the price

The only negative is the lady with whom I’ve paid the bill was not too nice and not professional. She didn’t even try to add my Quantas velocity flyer so she told me she had issues with the machine. Well it’s written on your menu, when you paid by card you can add your Quantas VF for points.

Our waitress seemed to lack confidence. It took quite a while before we were offered to order drinks (over 20mins after we were seated). Also - it was myself and hubby and 2son’s under 10 and we had to ask for the kids menu. Food was good, I think it was just the service of the wait staff that made it average.

Amazing!! Friendly professional service, acknowledged as soon as you get to the door, perfect space around tables. Meals were so yummy and quick from ordering to serving. Will be back!
