It was Sunday of long weekend so a longer wait then usual but still okay time frame.

A really nice venue on near the banks of Lake Macquarie. The food was great! Everybody on my table was happy with their meals, and the service. The buffalo chicken burger was phenomenal. Would definitely eat here again! Highly recommended!!!

Food was great! - all 12 were happy but we were unaware when booking there were 2 x sitting times. Unaware there would be someone singing, which I enjoyed but elderly people with us had trouble with the noise. We passed angry customers on arrival as they were unaware of sitting times and had been asked to leave. Luckily we had the later sitting and didn't face that problem. There was nothing on their website to suggest any of the above wa s occurring. Food for thought regarding next year.

Enjoy dining at the Gunyah, have been numerous times for either lunch or dinner. The lighting is not the best at night, we were seated near the window not under a direct light and it was quite dark,

There were 8 girls 7 had lovely meals 1 had lasagne and it was tasteless hardly any meat, coffees were cold, but overall it was a good night.

Great meal, good venue but too load and noisy to enjoy a quiet dinner. Dessert got lost and we had to ask why the long wait. Table service was being cleaned up, people were leaving and our dessert was lost.

Atmosphere was good, we have been many times before. I was disappointed with the crab and prawn spring rolls which seemed to be more a curry puff/samosa with no sign of prawn or crab and the brownie sundae was full of nuts which wasn't advertised. Thankfully we aren't allergic to nuts but not huge fans and it was overpowering so the dessert also went to waste.

The Gunyah has become a favourite with my family. We unfortunately landed a day when there was a noisy crowd next to us. Food is always great.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch, our choices were a mix of pub favourites and pub specialities. All looked appetising and were delicious. The range of ‘on tap’ beers and ciders was great as were the wine choices. The view over the lake is very relaxing and you have the choice of indoor and outdoor dining.
