Pretty tasty food, cosy atmosphere and friendly efficient staff. The indoor seating is just a bit too warm we are all sweating. Otherwise highly recommended!

Service and attentiveness is one of the most important things I look for. Service was non existent where all waiters avoided eye contact, served and charged an additional drink we did not order, spilt alcohol all over the table. Had to ask twice to clean the table but both times reluctant and table was still smelly and wet. Both attitudes, service, cleanliness and overall ambience was such a let down compared with Potts Point, will discourage people from going and definitely not go back.

Overall pretty good, open pork belly Gyoza and cheeseburger Gyoza were delicious. Karage chicken, pork/prawn ginger Gyoza and edamame were average. The Dry cider was also very sweet, more like a Somersby cider than a dry cider.

Food quality Ordered couple of dishes (3 gyouza and 2 other side dishes) between two people. I've travelled to Japan quite a few times (and been to izakayas). Gyouzas there are served hot / sizzling (the insides are hot enough to burn your mouth). However, these were incredibly disappointing. They were cold by the time they arrived and a lot of flavour was lost as a result. (Perhaps they ought to be served on sizzling plates). White Sesame Salad was just a lot of cabbage and mayo mixed together. The nice ones I've had have less mayo, more sesame and are flavourful. Chicken karaage was similarly cold by the time it arrived at our table. Service The waitresses were very polite and helpful so 5 stars to them. However the waiters / customers staff proportion seemed off. Despite 50+ customers, I could see only 2 waitresses doing most of the work and more than once I noticed customers trying to get their attention, giving up and walking up to the counter (which was similarly understaffed). Fix that! Overall You guys have an amazing location. If the food and service quality issues are addressed, it'll make it it far easier for to recommend to others.

We had a booking so no waiting time. Booking was for 5pm We were told we had to be out by 7pm as there was another booking which made us rush our evening. We were finished by 6:40 Staff are very efficient It is noisy but it is a big open room so it was to be expected. Overall we enjoyed our time there

Overall very friendly staff and nice atmosphere, very unique drinks and food, wait times were longer than expected for the food, but understandable because it was a busy Friday night.

The food was okay. Took 15min to get served everytime when we pressed the service button.we were not given a menu and had to google it. The place doesnt know if they want to be a bar or a restraunt. Not well organised, expensive and small portions. Had to eat next door as we were still hungry as each portion is around 5 dumplings for 8-10 dollars. We will not be returning.

First time at the new(ish) location, and there is plenty to be impressed with. The service is excellent as usual, and the food/beverage options we chose were all delicious. Returning this weekend for some of the morning goodness.
