When we first arrived there was no greeting and stood a bit lost for 5 minutes until we told them we had a booking, disappointed that they were sold out of cheeseburger and mozzarella gyozas as they were part of the reason going, drinks didn’t come out until 10 minutes after we got the food and we only had ordered 3 coke zeros and a cider and had to ask for them again. Some of the food was really good but I think they need to tighten up on their customer service, I usually don’t put reviews in unless I was pretty frustrated which is rarely.

The bell system at each table works very well to get the attention of the staff. The food is very good. We just stuck to the dumplings. Only thing you may want to ask for is more salt on the foot long fries.

The famed pancake was fluffy but terrible presentation, nothing like in the pictures and inconsistent. We had no fruit on our one but others had blueberries etc. so I’m not sure why. You also have to order the pancakes in advance, selecting how many, the flavor and what time it should arrive which is bothersome. The highlight was the cheeseburger gyoza and duck gyoza, chips was also good but if you ask for mayo, they bring you more but charge you later (without telling you). Don’t ask for green tea - it comes in a tiny cup and no refills so not enough for the meal. Boiled beef dumplings very bland - even our toddler didn’t like it. As for the chicken teriyaki rice dish, chicken was tasty and tender but not enough sauce for the rice. The fried chicken was ok but nothing special. Overall, ok for a social lunch but you need to order a lot of gyozas to be full.

We were all really excited to try your fluffy pancakes after seeing your posts. We ordered all three variation of pancakes were unfortunately disappointed with the taste. The taste was bland and not something we would describe as being “fluffy” pancakes. There were clumps of flour that was not properly mixed into the pancake batch. However, we were happy with the service we received and other food we ordered.

Service and ambience were good. Food was interesting and fun, but not quite the authentic Japanese gyoza. Good experience overall.

Poor service. Two out of three items ordered were wrong. Significant wait time for food to be served and ended up cancelling one item due to the long wait.

The service was excellent. My partner and I arrived a little early, just before the restaurant opened and the staff accommodated us and seated us at a table. The gyoza and pork belly were ordered were amazing. The creme brûlée pancake certainly did not disappoint! The Yoyogi Pale Ale (from the tap) was excellent. We will definitely be visiting again to try the other dishes on the menu.

Food was mediocre, gyozas were dry, karaage chicken was underwhelming, edamame was soggy and unsalted, eggplant tempura was bland and tasteless. Overall a meh experience 😒

Went with great expectations. They ran out of Cheese Veg Gyoza, Nutella Gyoza and was very disappointed. It was sunday evening so expecting much. We were traveling from outer west so thats why were quit unhappy. But saying that rest of food was ok to good.
