Hotel Palisade - Henry Deane

This is a fantastic restaurant with stunning views of Sydney Harbour. The food is delicious. Bear in mind it is small plates designed to share, so you won't get a main meal as such. If that suits you, you should not be disappointed.

Good view good service but expensive food and also they charge you extra in the bill

Stunning view, good food, competent staff, however I had a bit of a problem with the bill. Why a ten percent service surcharge for a booking of three people on a Thursday afternoon? Credit surcharge already on the bill? Bread charged extra although it was included on the menu item. I realise you pay extra for the stunning view, but billing could be done better. Also the Instagram crowd was somewhat annoying. Still a pleasant afternoon with good friends in a beautiful space.

Love the unique feel of preserved old work charm and modern elegance. We had a great meal and stay.

Besides the fact that it was a little smoky due to kitchen cooking inside, everything was perfect. Absolutely stunning view, comfort service and excellent food!

Just great location and ambiance taking in the harbour views. Menu has a good interesting selection. We came for lunch and stayed for 5 hours and the staff were helpful in moving us around to stay on longer. Overall a great experience.

One dreadful failure for a restaurant: no coffee to have dessert with, which is simply Appalling x10. When we tgen asked for a tea, the girl said there isn't a tealeaf in the building, and no way to boil water! She said this without even cracking a smile. So so stupid. My business guest who had already ordered a rich dessert couldn't go past the first few bites. Don't call yourself a restaurant without coffee/tea to digest a three course meal.

Just the couch is a little hard to sit on??? You are very low and slide forward, when replacing these test them out first.

Business dinner for overseas visitors - perfect views and location

Professional, attentive and welcoming staff. Very clean premises, comfortable lounges and chairs with a stunning outlook of the water including Burrangaroo, also the Harbour Bridge, with the added bonus of having the option of personal, separate rooms if with a small group. Chefs know their palette and are accommodating to food intolerances. If on the top floor, you are able to watch them work their magic. A perfect hotel where old meets new. This is a wonderful place for regulars and a MUST for your guests and tourists alike. Overall an ex selling experience.

Great location and fantastic views. You pay for them via the drinks prices but the service is fantastic. The menu on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. By and large seafood dominated so if you’re with someone who isn’t that keen on it you’re limited to only a few choices.

I asked for no straw for my drink but it still came with it. Breathtaking view though it can be quite hot and sunny at times. Nice food but very small portion.
