Hotel Palisade - Henry Deane

Service was excellent with all the servers keeping tabs on our needs seamlessly...it was like having 5 wait staff taking care of us. The views had a lot of potential, but did not live up to expectations as portrayed on the web site. Food was awesome but the house special drinks for Valentines Day were meh. Great building and layout for taking a date out for a memorable evening.

The views looking great from Bangaroo around to the Bridge. We had 6 share plates each one was as good as each other. The staff were exceptional

Staff were lovely but food was awful. Each plate brought separately and the next one not brought until that one was finished, so this meant some guests hadn’t eaten for three courses, and the others had finished and had to watch the rest of the guests have their food one plate at a time. Too hot as well.

We loved the food and the wine. The service was also very good. The configuration of our seating made it difficult to converse as a group of 6 and we found it very noisy as well. Views were fantastic and staff attempted to accommodate our needs.

The location was amazing with perfect views and we were lucky to have beautiful weather to highlight it all. The service was great - very friendly and prompt. Loved the share plates

A really beautiful bar with exceptional 350 degree views. Terrific service and food is good unpretentious and tasty. Helpful wait staff who moved us to a window table once it became vacant - nice !

It’s a great view in a cool venue , the share menu is top class, an interesting wine menu and the service is 10/10 . Youll have a good time everyone

A relaxed afternoon. Not busy. Food was served timely and drink orders delivered so quickly. Delicious food! Drinks were gorgeous! Loved the Pisco Disco! Wait staff were very nice. Views spectacular! Thank you!

Great food and great cocktails in a great location with a wonderful view. Definitely recommended for visitors to the area, but it's best to book.

Great place. The views were amazing. The rooftop needs to have more air conditioning on hot days, otherwise a perfect spot to meet with friends.

Have been here twice recently and loved it both times. Excellent service and the views a unique and cool. Love this place it’s becoming a regular for a special night out.

Great views. Excellent staff. Very good food. Very hard to fault. Try the black leatherjacket, watermelon tuna and lamb chops with the German Riesling. Yum

Service was excellent. Food from the small share menu was also excellent. The drinks menu was seemingly never ending. A bit pricey, but what would you expect, being in a spot with such marvellous city and river views. If you go once, you'll want to return again one day.

Great place to have a relaxed time with your friends. Amazing views, service polite and drinks and food is good. The portions are on the small side though, so this is more of drinks and canapés place.

What an amazing venue great views across Sydney Harbour and the city. Sublime cocktails and great food. Will definitely be back to soak it up again

Great food and drinks list. The staff were quite a bit too relaxed. Luckily we booked for Sunday lunch as it was full on the top floor.

Unbelievable views from the Flying Fox seating area. Great wine list and good food to share. Would be high on a list of ‘must do’ for visitors to Sydney.

Great spot. Great service. Food nice but could be a lot more... However the view is the best in Sydney so definitely worth a visit

The hostess who Greeted my parents was very rude and told us we had the wrong time and tried to give us a table At the bar when lots of others were free. I arrived shortly after but my parent told me what had happened. It’s shocking anyone would attempt to put two people in their 70s on a bar stool. A little common sense would make for a much better experience. Also, no beer mats or serviettes so dripping drinks, not cool.

One of my favourite places to eat when visiting Sydney. Great food, great staff and great atmosphere with the most amazing views. Food allergies catered for without any issue...

Great venue with fantastic views. The staff were ver helpful especially Hannah. Food was good, def get the prawns @ the lamb. Will def come back.

Best Sydney bar ever. The atmosphere that this bar has owing to its location and the views that it offers is beyond description....you need to be there to experience and, most importantly, enjoy it. Will be back soon.

The view is quite okay. But the waitress was so RUDE!. As the food are quite expensive, I am expecting some quality of service. I am so disappointed by the serivce provide by this lady. We ordered the king prawns and squard. The squard is very salty.

Very noise. Under staffed, other than the salads and potatoes the meat items were not of quality. Lamb greasy, and flatiron buried in sauce. Expensive

Awesome view, fantastic service, great menu and fabulous food... Verandah is fabulous on a hot day with a cold drink... One of my favourite places when I visit Sydney.

Great space to be in, views all round, quality food (octopus to die for) and good service. Worth a few extra dollars for a lovely afternoon. Recommended!

Staff are really bad and not helpful at all. The wait staff don’t look interested and the food is overpriced for the level of quality.

Henry Deane is stated to be an establishment with “...modern & sophisticated charm”. It is in fact modern, and certainly has great views which it trades on heavily, but lacks any real sophistication or charm. Henry Deane is crowded (sometimes overly so), noisy and has quite expensive sharing food plates with a price point that is not in keeping with either the food standard or the level of service (which was ordinary, apart from one hostess baring her bra-less breasts every time she bent over to serve at the lounge chairs which prevail) . E.g. 3 x small Blackened Leather Jacket Sliders = $45.00, 3 x grilled King Prawns = $34, 1 x Asparagus Salad = $20, 5 x small Scallops = $27.50... certainly ok but none of it sophisticated in either style or substance. Sure go for a drink, take a small snack and enjoy the view, be seen if that’s what lights your fire, but head somewhere else for a better meal as there are plenty of higher standard options in the city and NOMAD and FIREDOOR would be two of many - Henry Deane does not even come close to either.

Outstanding service and great food,started our night on the top level with incredible views and food to match, then moved to a lower level where the staff continued to look after us really well.

Such an amazing space. Perched high above Sydney, the view is just amazing, with floor to very high glass walls. Cocktails and food are top notch and service is 1st class with the friendliness that make it comfortable. Great experience.

Fabulous view and new menu is divine. One of my favourite places in Sydney and consistently good. I love taking friends here for their first time.

Great view and wonder staff to help pair drinks with shared plates. Perfect place for a business lunch to relax and reflect on the year.

Way too LOUD!! This is a nice bar, but definitely should not be mistaken for a restaurant where you want to talk with your guests, let alone hear them at all.
