The menu options were excellent and food was served quickly. The only reason I didn't give a 6 rating was that the ramen wasn't as good as I've had at most other establishments. Would still definitely eat there again though just minus the ramen.
If you are looking for a truly authentic Japanese restaurant in Brisbane... this is it!! The food is absolutely delicious & the hospitality is great!!
This was a special event, and it basically lived up to expectations. They kept the food and sake coming regularly and provided good explanations for what was served.
The food wasn't nice at all. The sauce of my curry tasted like it came straight out of a jar. Friendly service and nice wine though.
Food quality was ok. The eggplant dish I ordered this time was a bit too oily. The ramen special is just average. The tuna sashimi was also just average
Food great Service average No BYO Alcohol too expensive eg $13 stubbie Wouldn't go back unless BYO or alcohol prices reduced in line with other restaurants
Very ordinary food- bland and disappointing. Only good thing was chicken karaage. Teriyaki beef tasted like it has been in slow cooker all day with over cooked vegetables. Okonomiyaki was parcooked and sloppy. Slow service
Good place to eat, however quite small so if you have a big group, it is best to book ahead. I don't think the Bento is worth the price but pork ramen is nice. Service was quite slow. There were 6 of us and our food came out one by one with around 10-15 mins interval so this might be something they need to work on.
Food was good but the service was quite slow. Our table of 6 (one of only 3 or 4 tables occupied) got meals 2 at a time so there was a considerable wait until the last person received their meal.
Staff were friendly and obliging. Food was fresh and nicely presented. Yummy gyoza especially. Loo is a long way from the restaurant through not particularly attractive alleyways, but this is a minor compliant.
Huge portion sizes so excellent value for money. Friendly staff, great location, easy online booking and great range of food and drink options. Highly recommended
Great food and reasonable price. Noisy environment due to no sound absorbing surfaces, so it makes it difficult to hear conversation with the others in our party.
Exxy with the lack of mayo but somewhat tasty you've been warned so just order the bento box to get your money's worth you're welcome
Great service. Staff was attentive without being overbearing. Great menu selection and the dishes were quick to come out. Best of all there were no bill stuff ups, which has happened in almost every other restaurant in Brisbane when I've organised a large group.
The food was outstanding, everything we ordered was fresh and flavourful. We really enjoyed the diversity of the drinks menu as well. Recommend the jelly sake.
Great little place for sensational sushi, the salmon and scallop was amazing as well as the chicken karage! Recommended for a quiet little get together!
Delicious and authentic food, reasonably priced for the quality. There's a wide range of sake available, plus Japanese beers and a few wines. Only downside is it is a bit noisy.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately, the food's a bit disappointed. A plate of eggplant soaked with oil, stir fry veggies with thick gluey sauce, and pork ramien tasted like instant noodle (the pork's alright though).
Great Japanese food and really good service. Will definitely go back! Very good value for money with their $15 lunch special. The salmon rice bowl was delicious
We went for dinner the food was great the only issue we had was getting a waitress's attention to take our order. We will go back and try again
Great Japanese. They have specials on weekdays, on Tuesday when we visited you could buy edemame for $1 with any drink. The food was all high quality and came out quickly.
Was not the tastiest Japanese and was some was quite fatty. A very loud restaurant but the service was quick and in comparison to other Japanese restaurants, was relatively cheap.
Great food, excellent service. Tempura prawns amazing. Have been a few times now and will keep going back. Need to try everything on the menu.
Was a very pleasing experience, food was really nice and came out quickly. Only thing I didn't like was that it's only small so was pretty loud
