Well, priced, great food, awesome craft beer range and location. Unfortunately, the restaurant was understaffed which led to poor service. Will come back again though!

Friendly, relaxed atmosphere, genuine North Italian - traditional and modern cuisine fusion, great service, top view. The place to go for a contemporary Italian experience.

Causal eating, staff attentive, food nothing to write home about but ok. All up a pleasant evening with friends. Nice surrounds lovely sunset. Good people watching area

Great food, great staff, great venue... I had home made gnocchi, they were just delicious, just the way they should be. I will be going back next week.

Very attentive Italian waiter. The food was great especially the pizza. The atmosphere was very cosy and not too noisy. Would recommend to everyone to try.

Lovely casual atmosphere and great prices for meals. Was there on a Wednesday night and the place was very busy all be it the weather was not great that night. Will be back to try the pizzas!

The food was lovely and the service great, but it's so noisy you can barely hear the people at your table. I think they need to add some sound proofing/buffering panels or something, as the building is concrete & glass and there are barely any soft furnishings to help absorb noise either. It's not helped by having an open kitchen too!

Service was swift and friendly. The food is very true Italian, definitely try the deep fried chocolate ravioli omg!!!!!!! Only con, it’s a bit of a noisy venue.

Great food and service. Had a lovely meal with my family, all meals ordered were delicious. Kids loved their pizzas which were a generous size. Service was attentive and friendly

Overall the experience was okay. We were offered water 3 times inside 2 minutes by three different people which was uncomfortable. The lady who served our wine, did not offer a taste, rather just poured but with the wine glasses on the wrong side of each diner. Staff probably need more training in dining etiquette. Food was good and presented well. Overall not a bad experience, staff need training!

The meal was delicious, The wine was great, awesome wait staff. Great layout of restaurant Only negative was a $5 per person charge for a birthday cake

Food and location were lovely. The staff forgot us so took ages to place an order the the hot chocolate was boiling water with choc powder served with a sticky wet packet marshmallow on the side which was stuck to the plate :s

Nice food. Lovely view. Mixed good/bad service. Long wait times and disregard for certain services. No consideration given to requests made in the booking process even though the restaurant was largely empty

Service was great and waitstaff very attentive. Food delicious and very well presented. Desert menu a little disappointing. Mostly all coffee ingredients. We ordered 2 chocolate and 1 vanilla. Got 3 chocolate. Waitress English was not great.

service was good but need to improve quality of food - lamb chops were all cooked differently (some raw, others well-cooked) and the risotto had minimal mushrooms in it. They should have 2 options (i.e. entrée and main sizes) for pasta dishes as some of them such as the ravioli are small serves.

Recommend mussels, risotto was tasteless, pasta was all pasta and virtually nothing else. Ambience is good though very noisy. Fabulous location worth going for the views.

Not overly impressed with our experience tonight. Service was slow and food was average. Nice venue but if felt cramped and loud. Maybe lunch with a view might be the way to go.

Food was average, ice cream portion very small, inside was noisy, staff busy tried to get waiters attention. One of the toilets was broken and ran out of toilet roll!

Our lunch was excellent, the food had lots of flavour and well presented. would highly recommend. If I had one complaint it would be that I was presented with an open bottle of beer that was different to what I ordered. I don't mind if you have run out of that particular variety but maybe ask for my preference instead of assuming which one I would like.

Food was good, the service was very pleasant, but a few issues with the waitress not knowing what Kahlua was, and a few other issues which were kind of noteworthy...

Beautifully located restaurant with excellent service from the meet and greet through to paying the bill. The menu provided many choices. Our meals were very tasty and ample servings. We will be returning to La Cappanina.

Great food, good atmosphere and good/drinks came out in a timely manner. Front desk staff could be a little friendlier with a smile. Definitely will be recommending to others.

Food, service & setting were great. Just a bit noisy acoustically but nevertheless we will be back but maybe not with anyone who is hearing challenged!!!!

Lovely friendly and efficient staff, great wine list and menu but food wasn't as extraordinary as we were expecting. Feel there are better Italian restaurants especially for the price. But the most surprising thing was how noisy it was. Not just people but more the loud, almost inappropriate, music. Looking out at the ocean is fantastic and there is great parking but the atmosphere could do with being a bit more laid back

Very impressive experience. Every employee was Italian. Loved the Italian discussions coming from the kitchen. Pizza was good size but soggy base in the middle. Pasta main was a small serving for a big hungry guy.

We enjoyed everything about our experience except found it very noisy which made it hard to listen to each other. View very good!! Would go againj

It is a very good place with hogh quility food and good setvice.I will recommand it to our friends.I will come again in thenearly future.

Great selection of seafood and pasta. Had the margarita pizza which was fantastic. Couldn't sit out on the balcony, maybe because it wasn't a great day weather wise but still a fantastic view.

The floor staff were nice, However our food was forgotten and it felt like ages before anyone came back and attended our table, Its early days it can only improve!

Dinner was lovely, great service, could cater for young children a little more (ice cream served in a martini glass to a 3 year old)

Our first visit, but definitely will not be our last. Service was a refreshing change, with our waiter being very attentive to our every need. Food was delicious & timely. A very friendly, professional environment. Can’t wait to return.

Quick service, even though the lunch time period was busy. Amazing Gnocchi ! The tomato one would have been nice to have a slice of bread for the excess sauce. Will definitely be recommending and returning

The food, service, atmosphere are of a very high standard. In this world of dying customer service, it is very refreshing to see it is not completely gone. Well done to the owners for maintaining this rare service. Food is pretty good to boot!

Went here with the family for lunch. Beautiful view and great ambiance. We ordered a few pastas, pizzas and entrees to share. Food was pretty tasty and pastas were cooked well but the pizzas were amazing! The staff member, Riccardo who attended to us was very helpful and attentive. His wine and food recommendations were perfect and he impressed my father in law with his knowledge and attitude. Will definitely be back.

Lovely food & setting. We had requested a window table but were given a round table indoors. As there were tables available outside we were slightly disappointed not be accommodated there. Also would have liked large coffees to have been in a mug rather than take away cups. Minor issues as overall it was a good experience & we would do it again. Thanks.

Some good points, some not so good. Food was great. Felt over serviced. Constantly being interrupted by a number of staff. Some friendlier than others. Instead of having one person who looked after set tables and who would then know at what stage we were at, we were asked the same things over and over again. We had not finished our share pizza and the pasta main was brought out. Had to ask them to take them back. Plates were removed from the table when others had not finished. Couldn't help feeling we were being rushed. Chairs being placed on tables around us at 9.30 pm.

It was busy but service was still very good. The food was excellent. Huge menu so there is something to suit everyone. We will be back.

Great service, food and ocean views Steak was perfect, came with salad Barramundi and salmon were both very fresh and as good as you get. The seafood bouillabaisse was an excellent dish

Service was slow. Waited 40minutes for wine then a further 35 for food to arrive. Food was lovely, staff friendly but run off their feet.

Great service and fabulous tasty food for lunch. I will be going again for my birthday with a friend on Thursday evening, I am sure it will be just as good in the evening.

I booked for 10 ladies. Restaurant agreed to split the bill as a special one off. With 10 ladies this worked perfectly for us. Our lunch food was greatl. The view was superb. Waiters were a little too busy at times and hard to catch their attention. But highly recommended. Erika Tucker

Food was beautiful as was wine! Service was overall good but a little slow for our mains but the restaurant was very busy so forgave! Second visit and loved it again, plus my friends who were first timers both thought it was excellent!
