Great food and lovely atmosphere. They had lots of gluten free options. I would be very happy to go back to Mediterraneo Charcoal Restaurant again.

As previously we enjoyed friendly and efficient service combined with excellent food and wine. The staff even sang Happy Birthday (in tune) for my wife.

The service was excellent right from the start and the meal was most enjoyable and cooked to perfection. we would certainly go again without hesitation

Celebrating my wife’s birthday, booked here on Saturday night for our first visit to this restaurant and weren’t disappointed. From the moment we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the owner Michael who was friendly and made us feel like we were family. Place has a great vibe and the staff are very friendly and attentive making for a great night out. George our waiter looked after our every need. We kicked off with a couple glasses of Merlo which hit the right spot. Menu selection is good as we tried the cevapi entree along with the dips which were tasty and a must. My wife had the stuffed calamari which she enjoyed and I tried the kangaroo which was the best I’ve ever had. Finished off with the tiramisu. Overall great experience and highly recommended night out. We are looking forward to visiting again we our friends.

Food and service was excellent. Staff are friendly and efficient with the food cooked to perfection. The restaurant is clean and has a homely feel about it.

This is consistently one of the best restaurants in Melbourne with excellent quality food and amazingly friendly and attentive staff. Highly recommended to anyone looking for great steaks, seafood and wine.

A delightful place with most charming stuff. we were looked after really well. I am very gluten sensitive so it is a real find to eat at a place committed to gluten free cuisine. Wine list is extensive and the bar full of interesting concoctions. Additional bonus is a range of gluten free deserts! We shall definitively be back

I wanted to try Mediterraneo because it was Coeliac friendly. I was not disappointed. Almost everything on the menu was gluten free. I chose scallops as an entree and for mains had barramundi. The best barra I have ever tasted, it was white and juicy and just fell apart. For dessert I had sticky date pudding, it was delicious. Will certainly be eating there again.

Food was most enjoyable with my fillet steak done as to how I ordered it the Mediterranean roasted vegetables would have been a very tasty course in itself coupled with very efficient and very pleasant service contributed to a nice dining experience.

Outstanding menu with an assortment of delicacies to enjoy and a wide range of fine wines that blended with meal options. Friendly service - highly recommended.

Good food, good attentive and friendly service. Crepe Suzette a highlight. Not too expensive but you wouldn't call the prices a bargain. Could be convinced to go again, but there's no compelling reason to rush back.

Great service and atmosphere. We were well looked after and the food was delicious. 3 in our group were Coeliac and it was so lovely to eat somewhere safe that the whole group enjoyed. I can't wait to go back!

Lovely food. Beautiful produce and exquisitely prepared. So lovely to eat without worry as a coeliac. I really appreciated the seperate warm gf roll with seperate oil and balsamic. The service we received was also excellent and understanding of young children. We will be back regularly.

Went for lunch with two business associates. Lamb cutlets, kangaroo fillet and seafood kebab were all top notch. Was served by a delightful waiter who looked after us.

Amazing food, leisurely service. Love the outside space. Great cocktails. I forget how much I enjoy the food here until we come back. Definitely will be back.

The staff were welcoming, the menu was extensive, the food was delicious. The service was attentive although a bit slow between courses but the restaurant was full. Overall a lovely to place to have a special meal with loved ones.

Fabulous food, wide choice of interesting menu items, inviting and friendly atmosphere with outstanding, personal service. Amazing fresh food that you wouldn't know was gluten free - beautifully presented. Loved everything!

One of the friends we were with is celiac and it is great that most of the menu he can choose from. The lamb cutlets were great.

We had a table upstairs and would have preferred downstairs as it was difficult for our friend. Didn’t know about an upstairs when we booked and would have been handy to know. Lovely girl who took our order but when the food came it was a bit over the place as they didn’t know who ordered what. A bit underwhelmed and didn’t feel the love.

Great food served in beautiful environment by friendly staff... can’t fault it Wine list is very good and you can taste some of the drinks from all over the world.

Tables too close together & too noisy. Menu very interesting with a wide range of choices and good quality food. Excellent wine list including very good Serbian chardonnay.

Our old and trusted favourite for an amazing meal and service every time. Great experience for Balkan food lovers. The only disappointment is that the place was a bit too noisy on the day.

The food was delicious and the service was friendly and accommodating without being too forward. We weren't drinking but the wine list and bar shelves looked very impressive.

Arranged a lunch meeting at the restaurant. We were greeted friendly on arrival and the level of service was fantastic throughout. The food also was of a high standard and great value for money. Will definitely return.
