Fantastic food and wonderful service. Great atmosphere too. We will definitely return and highly recommend this place. No wonder it was packed. Best chargrilled dishes!

Great service and delicious food- our group of ten enjoyed our night. The stuffed calamari was exceptional as were the cevaps- grilled steaks were cooked to perfection!

We really enjoyed our dinner here. The staff were friendly. We were dining early as we had to go a show in the city. They were very fast with the service but didn't compromise on the quality of it. We had the 250g Scotch fillet (with roasted vegetables) and the Wild Barramundi. Both were incredibly delicious. The wine choice was great and the deserts were delicious - Tiramisu and Sticky Date pudding. We would be more than happy to return. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.

Delicious dinner at Mediterraneo. Good food, lovely company, great service, friendly staff, presentation of fish and salads delicious, amazing desserts, tiramisu is my favourite! Lovely restaurant that we will return to time and time again.

what a great night. Meet be great staff made to feel welcome which is a rare fins these days. Menu was fantastic and all the menu apart from two desserts. Which is great for coeliacs. Will be back again very soon

We had the most wonderful meal here, the service, the atmosphere, the menu, the wine. Just a truly wonderful experience. Would highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is looking for a 100% Gluten free mains menu and around 85% Gluten free dessert menu.

Amazing eye fillet steak. Should have ordered the larger size! Everyone loved their meal, and the service was attentive and personable. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the meals. Will definitely go back for special occasions!

Great menu, great wine, exceptional service. Parking was a breeze. I would highly recommend the meat platter or one of the classic steaks. Definitely will dine there again.

As a coeliac i was very keen to try this restaurant and i can honestly say it lived up to its expectations. The food and service was divine and it is a beautiful building also. The staff are so lovely and that is one of the highlights of this place. I will certainly be back.

The food was delicious. The staff was very friendly and professional. The restaurant is Coeliac friendly. It is located in a very nice area with parking in the same street.

The food was ok, nothing special. We were a group of 8, sat in the back next to the kitchen,. the service was ok, very slow. Had to ask twice sometimes. It was a special occasion to celebrate an 18th birthday. The were told beforehand. They did nothing to make the occasion. ( a small gesture would have been nice, to make some one feel special). Over all not a bad experience, just nothing to rave about.

For mine it's the best steak in Melb the 650 Rib Eye is unsurpassed. Michael is a great host and always makes you feel welcome and comfortable. Great menu extensive wine list very cosy atmosphere.

What an excellent atmosphere. The only thing that let it down was the clumsy service by the staff not knowing table numbers and taking menus when we were still ordering. Other than that the food was amazing!

Exceptional food - barramundi, grilled plus a side of char grilled mediterranean vegetables. Pretty much entire menu gluten free except two desserts. Vanilla bean creme brulee was awesome as was the sorbet. Staff service was the best, a truly fantastic dining experience.

Excellent service. Great to find a restaurant that appreciates how simple it is to provide food that tastes the same whether it is gluten free or not.

Great Service with friendly staff. Food was OK, 3 of us loved it 3 of us felt that it was a disappointment. Seemed to depend on what was selected. Steak was well cooked but sauce selection was a disappointment being a little tasteless. Venison was dry at extremes but good in the middle, Goulash was a huge hit with the two people that selected it. Deserts were varied. Crepe Suzette I have usually had prepared at my table at other restaurants with all the theatre that goes along with it. This example was bought to the table plated and was somewhat stodgy. Baklava had no crispness to the Filo layers at all and flavor was average. Panacotta was brilliant. So a very mixed bag. With so many exceptional restaurants nearby I would have to be coaxed back again.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint. Fantastic food, wonderful wine list and very attentive staff. I recommend the garlic prawns and the panna cotta for dessert- delicious

Always great food and service at Mediterraneo. An added bonus is that their menu is for the most part gluten free! They are the only certified GF restaurant in Victoria!

Couldn't fault the service. All at the table loved their food, steaks, seafood and lamb cutlets. Great place to relax and enjoy the atmosphere and outstanding food and wine.

The service was attentive, the atmosphere was very relaxing and the food was amazing. The best part was the sheer size of the desserts - amazing! Will be coming back here again!

Food was excellent. One waitress needs assistance as had no idea about names of teas, couldn't remember who ordered what and had to go back and forth to the kitchen and then asked another person as well whether it was our table she was bringing the food to.

Great quality food but our steaks were just overdone ie the medium rare was medium and the medium was well done. The salmon was absolutely spot on though. We've been a number of times and when it's spot on it's an absolute neighbourhood gem. Service and staff are excellent.

Amazing fooD, everything had a beautiful unique flavor from the grill, meat is so tender it almost melts like butter. The service is impeccable with the owner of the restaurant also making sure he chats to the patrons to ensure that everyone is satisfied. Will definitely be coming here again, and the fact that everything is gluten free is an additional bonus!!!

This is one of our family favourite restaurants to go to whenever we crave for steak or seafood. Food and services are always food and consistent and has a homely feel to it.

Great selection of steak and seafood for the grill and everything is perfectly cooked. The staff are welcoming and the service excellent. Varied wine list ranging from very affordable drops through to rare treats. We'll be back.
