Most of the food was delicious. There was one or two dishes that I didn't love but there was nothing wrong with the dish itself. Our waitress fumbled a little but it was her first night on the job and it was a little loud but that's to be expected given it was so busy. I would definitely go back again. The food was definitely value for money and came out very quickly. .

We spent a bit under two hours feasting on their all you can eat menu. Everything was delicious in its own way but our favourite course was the matcha and black sesame ice creams 🤗

We love Okami, it’s great value and the food is fresh and delicious. It can get a bit noisy because it’s so busy but we still love it.

Great food, expensive but premium Japanese food always is. VERY noisy- wanted to give out a birthday present but no one at the table would have been able to hear. Had to do it outside on the footpath after the meal

We have been to other Okami branches before and loved them, hence why we keep going back but this was by far the worst experience. Staff were unfriendly and almost made you feel bad for ordering multiple dishes. Every time I wanted a waiters attention for assistance or to order again it was almost a chore for them. They forgot to being out our Miso soup (we reminded them 35 minutes after we ordered it and only 1 came out. We were told at 6.50pm that last orders were occurring. We ordered ice cream and it didn't get brought to our table until 7.25pm. Very disappointing and probably won't be returning to Brunswick again

This is our 3rd visit to this particular branch, and probably 6th visit to any Okami. So you could say we're regular customers. It was very sloppy service this time: - portions looked a lot messier and not arranged as nicely as usual, - waiter/waitress kept forgetting request for water etc. - 5 people standing around counter while I waiter for my bill. Amazingly no one saw me even though I was right in front of them, and I had to get their attention. Not sure I'd go back to this particular branch anymore.
