The restaurant was really cold. They did not have any heating on. When you go to a restaurant in the winter they should have the heating on so you feel warm and comfortable while eating. I asked them to turn on the heating and they did but it still took a long time to warm up. Also the price is very expensive now compared to what it used to be

This may sound crazy but the beef is not beef but rather lamb/mutton. Trust me I know what mutton tastes like.

seating wasn’t the comfiest and the table was very squished for two people. also the food was very bland which was disappointing as we’ve been to a very nice okami in pakenham but caulfield just didn’t live up to our expectations

Food was fantastic as usual. Service was very slow and orders were lost resulting in long wait times between food arriving. We also had to place the order several times before it arrived.

Great food. You get what you pay for with the all you can eat. The service was fairly quick with staff bringing out food soon after ordering it.

Yes I know it was extremely busy and the staff were lovely. Might just need some more staff on. And as I’ve seen from a few other Okamis having iPads to order (makes it easy and sends straight to the kitchen) or a sign that we can flip when we would like to order! Very smart idea. I’ve never stayed longer than an hour and a half, which this night we were pushing the 2 hour limit. Having to wait to order food took a long time each time we wanted something. Food was amazing though when it came out.

Greta value and super quick , friendly service. Looking forward to dining at Okami Caulfield again soon

Lovely food but incredibly understaffed and we were pretty neglected during the whole experience

Service was very very slow, we were sat in a very cold spot near front door, with people standing next to us waiting for a table. It took 30 minutes after seated for waiter to take order and provide water. Food delivery was very slow, and paired dishes came 20 minutes apart. Very hard to order more dishes.

As per usual you cannot go wrong with okami. Great service and fresh food is just the way to do all you can eat :)

Delicious food at such good value. Really liked how you could adjust the portions for each meal so food wouldn’t be wasted. The male waiter we had was really on top of it all and knew what we needed without us asking
