Great for interstate visitors - a shame rooftop booked out

Lovely, light venue, never too busy, quiet enough to talk, food is excellent and I like the 125ml wine glasses so you can have a bit at lunchtime for a special occasion without going overboard. Highly recommend.

Love the lunch deal, value for money. The waiter that seats you is fantastic and really welcoming. A great place for lunch/dinner.

Greatly enjoyed the pizza and pasta, and the Circular Quay restaurant is a beautiful place. Though the food was quite high quality, the portion size isn't the most generous for the price, so there may be better restaurants out there for value for money. Considering the great service and lovely ambience, I would still suggest Salt Meats Cheese as a good choice for a nicer meal.

Service in the Circular Quay was great. Staff was very accommodating.

The restaurant lacks atmosphere but the food is very nice and reasonably priced.

Great food. Great service. Pizzas were in the true Italian style.Thin, simple but tasty. The creme brûlée’ was to die for! This was my 2nd visit and I’ll be back again.

We were disappointed in our experience, having been to other Salt Meat Cheese restaurants. The lamb ragu had virtually no lamb and was not hot. We couldn't find a staff member to tell until half way through the meal. The crab pasta was tasteless and underwhelming. However the mushroom gnocchi and the beetroot 2 ways were both very good. Considering it was a Tuesday night and the place wasn't busy it was disappointing that they couldn't get the food right and the team were not available to the customers.

Menu was a bit limited and couldn't get a simple item like capsicum on a pizza. Waiter was as helpful as he could be. Noisy. And there is no view. Even from the window seats.

Good food good wine and great friendly service. This is my 4th visit. Definitely recommend.

Lovely food and quick service. It was really noisy though so meant you had to shout to have a conversation. Maybe get some curtains to absorb some of the sound :-)

We went at 6 p.m. before a show. The restaurant was almost full but the noise levels were great. We had delicious cocktails and the food was tasty - a few entrees, main and dessert. All great. The service was friendly and helpful.

Always enjoy dining at Salt Meats Cheese and that's why we continue to come back again & again. Love the waiter with the glasses (sorry not sure of his name) - he's always so friendly and provides great service.

They never called to discuss the reaervation, so we went elsewhere and had a fabulous meal.

Food was delicious. Waitresses very pleasant. Restaurant was full yet quiet enough to hear our own conversation. Sadly we had to remind them to bring part of our meal. It was forgotten. We’ll go again nevertheless.

Limited choice of food compared to my last visit and the portion shrunk a lot. The seats (high stools) are not comfortable.

Food was warm when serve. Pizza with truffles was wonderful. Crispy round outer crush and soft Centre.

Would highly recommend for the next visit to Circular Quay

Poor service - left in a corner and didn't take our drinks order for 15 minutes.

Service was great but food was very average with small portions and high prices.

Service is always attentive and efficient - perfect for when needs to get to a show at the Opera House. Food quality, taste and servings never disappoint.
