Salt Meats Cheese - Circular Quay

The atmosphere and service was quite good however the pizza was overloaded and soggy in the centre. The kids meatball ragu pasta was delicious as were the Arancini, just a but disappointed with the soggy pizza.

Considering it was in the middle of the vivid period the staff were doing the best that they could.

I was disappointed in the location as it was described as rooftop whereas it is actually on top floor of a food court and it felt like it. However, food and service were good

Couldn't make my 12pm booking. The 'Edit Reservation' link lets you change everything about the booking except to cancel. Needs a cancel option. I called the restaurant (which opens at 12pm) to cancel and no one picks up. Tried to do the right thing and cancel but couldn't.

Great for lunches with lots of specials and lunch time deals. Can get very busy and had to ask for my drink twice.

Salt Meats Cheese has really great vegan options now! I recommend the roast pumpkin risotto. My fellow diners also really enjoyed their meals and my margarita (the drink not the pizza!) was delicious. We were seated in a quiet area which was great. The only thing I could fault was that the waitress initially didn't write our order down and tried to memorise it. This makes me nervous when ordering the vegan options of menu items! But she did end up writing them down and all the food was perfect. Would return!

Had the salmon (huge piece) tonight with a shared side of the truffle mayo topped chips and it was grea! Filling, full of flavour & value for money. Service was quick & friendly, as always.

Very convenient for a pre Theatre meal, good food and service and reasonably priced drinks for such a prime location. Limited menu but with a good range of options.

Good selection of classic Italian 'fast food (e.g. pizza & pasta) done very well. Service is attentive & friendly. Great location across the road busy-ness of Circular Quay but quiet & relaxed on the first floor.

Late lunch so the noise level dropped and we had a relaxed experience.

Might have been a bad night but no excuse as it wasn't busy. Wine we ordered no longer available; pasta dish under cooked and cold, well under al dente; we were charged for the wine we didn't get and the table stuck to your arms. Arancine were delicious.

Staff were friendly and accomodating to changes. They were also proactive in making sure we had a good experience - one of our members arrived after the food was served and they made sure to keep their meal under the heater so that it didn’t go cold

A chicken salad with not much chicken. A rigatoni carbonara that must have been reheated to have poor texture and a thick gluggy sauce. I’m in s generous mood hence the ‘2’.

Service was on the slower side as it took a while to get our order in. Food however was worth it, especially the truffle fries that complemented everything else.

Nice location just across from Circular quay station. Food was good esp the pizza and antipasto. Calamari was a little bit salty. Service was fantastic!!

Enthusiastic friendly staff, innovative new menu - good value for money. Great place to take friends (especially considering its around the harbour) and would definitely come back.
