At a cosy location in Sydney’s Inner West you’ll find SOG, an Abbotsford restaurant that’s turning heads with its contemporary Korean cuisine. The duo behind this modern eatery are chefs Giwan Kim and Sun young Park, two experienced restaurateurs that are passionate about cooking and the joy of eating. They’ve created a menu brimming with innovative Asian fusion dishes, ones that blend modern techniques and creative flavours with traditional recipes. Guests can enjoy the likes of ocean trout sashimi, crispy eggplant with sweet gochujang, slow-cooked beef ribs, char-grilled lobster and Korean fried chicken. Along with a modern restaurant space and welcoming service, SOG hopes to be a haven of fine food and relaxation – after all, it does name itself after the idea “Sanctuary of God”.
