The Incinerator

Decent food and reasonably priced. As we were a large group they called us on the morning of saying an additional charge would be charged. Mind you it was a regular Wednesday.

Always such a lovely place for lunch on a sunny day. Great food and wine. Service was very prompt.

Cafe very neglected eg seats all pealing, menus tattered. Always same menu, never changes.

Terrific venue. Lovely to sit out in the sun after a long run of rain in Sydney. We enjoyed the Buratta and Mediterranean Plates - both tasty and a decent size. We’ll be back for the iced-coffee with honeycomb

Very cold even inside on a very wet day. Surely an incinerator should be warm! Seats along the wall have seen better days - lots of rips.

Too noisy at times with coffee machine and kitchen, however it definitely need refreshing as seat cushioning is in poor condition and some paint / varnish needed in places. Staff very nice and happy

Unfortunately the food quality has really gone down. Don’t know if it has changed hands or not but I’ve been going to the Incinerator for many many years and have always loved it but not yesterday……very disappointing!

Food was good but service was not. Had to keep chasing up staff to place an order, get some water, order coffees and ended up clearing the table ourselves when no one came to remove dirty plates.

The Restaurant has a pleasant area outside which is better than the noise level inside. Nice staff helped us enjoy our visit.

I rarely write reviews, however in this case I would like to thank the Incinerator Cafe for a wonderful lunch experience. The staff were totally professional and attentive. We sat outside under beautiful trees and a huge umbrella. Lunch was delicious- one of the best I have had. Thank you.

My friend And I had a pleasant visit coffees and a breakfast. It’s a great location in the area and because it wasn’t busy, good fast service.

A few tables of very noisy women!!!! Shame it was raining and we couldn't sit outside.

We love The Incinerator, beautiful feel, ambience , outside is amazing, we have been many times and will continue to do so. However as good as the food is, my poached eggs were cold and my friend ordered poached eggs and salmon but only received the salmon.

We generally dine in the outdoor area as we take our dog with us and meet friends with dogs. It's lovely atmosphere next to the local park and oval and community facilities. Coffee is always good, staff friendly and the food is delicious.

Food and service v good. One onion tart which should have included Cauliflower did not have this and we had t oask for it to b added. Unfortunately after we paid and were exiting restaurant, staff came running behind us saying there were 2 coffees which were unpaid. We went back and checked with them. We had 2 coffees and 2 teas after the meal. These had been paid for. Two of us had no hot drinks. How this extra charge appeared on the bill we have no idea. Staff eventually believed us and there was a lot of shouting to and fro between staff. Then they said to us 'ok'. NO apology for the error or the embarrassment. I thought it was very poor customer relations. I am a very regular customer there and will be thinking twice before eating there again

It’s cold in the restaurant. The doors are wide open and there are no heaters. My dish wasn’t warm enough. We had booking for 1pm and felt rushed.

Very slow food to the table, some meals had been standing at the pass too long and were already cool. Some wait staff were quite rude and ordering coffees after lunch was an equally slow process plus it took two requests for the used food plates to be removed even after coffee cups were brought and attempted to be put among the used dishes. When staff started stacking chairs and tables while we and other people seated at other tables were still finishing our meals and coffee, we all said we wouldn’t be back again, disappointing after having enjoyed previous visits.

The food is all very good and staff unfailingly pleasant even though we were a challenging table of 10 for a Friday lunch.

A lovely experience. We booked online the day prior which proved a good idea as the restaurant was busy as the sun was shining.

Food was very nice , unfortunately it was a freezing day , you would think The Incinerator, would be warm HaHa Staff were very nice , I got a warm welcome & were very attentive , I hadn’t been there since it was an upmarket restaurant many years ago

Great meal with long time friends. The men would have liked a beer but you had run out before we arrived at midday.

Wonderful wait staff … delicious teriyaki chicken and sprout salad … great day to lunch in the sun and enjoy a vino or two. We’ll be back soon.
