Really enjoyed our night, wonderful ambience, wonderful food and lovely staff. Will dine again soon.
Great, authentic food cooked fresh. Loved the atmosphere & service was pleasant & efficient
Staff were very friendly and added extra items to the buffet at no cost. Nice meal and good variety!
Absolutely incredible! The food was indescribably delicious. So flavoursome and well balanced and spiced and warming and perfectly prepared in every way. The staff were lovely and we learned quite a bit about Tibet and Nepal too! We liked sitting in the cosy round booth room. Price was super reasonable. Thank you for an awesome night!
We had a fun extended family celebration for our daughter's 22nd birthday. Great food, service and friendly atmosphere. Thank you!
Was excellent with the only downside being a little slowness in the drink service
We loved the food. Service was excellent and prompt. The quality and quantity was great and good value. Overall loved it. Will be back.
Poor service and no staff, bland food and over priced
No one else in the restaurant and we waited a long time to be seated. There was a specials menu for January and February on the table which ended up causing confusion as we thought they were still available (it was April when we went). Our meals didn't come out together and there was a long wait time between the first and the next. At the end, no one came to ask if we wanted anything else so we eventually just went to find someone to let them know we were finished. Paid the bill (which also took a while to calculate as they do things manually) and left. The food was ok without but not something I would go out of my way to go back for. The walls were half painted in parts. There were a bunch of cartons stacked on a stage in the corner. These things took away from the ambience. I wouldn't like to be there when they have more than one party of five to cater for. I sense it would be a very long wait.
Food was amazing, service was fabulous. Best lassie we have has.
I was pretty disappointed with the mango lassi; it didn't have much of a mango taste. The pricing was a bit higher than before, and the food was a bit salty.
Food was great, friendly service, we really enjoyed our visit.
We are a dinner group that meets monthly. We had planned to try different restaurants but after two visits we are hooked. Excellent service and great food. Understated nuanced flavours.
We ordered 2 curries medium heat and whilst the meals we received were tasty they had no heat whatsoever which was disappointing. We also ordered and received additional steamed rice that was badly undercooked and sloppy….quite disappointed as I had dined here before and it was previously delicious.
There were 4 dinners, each dinner had a different dish unfortunately all were extremely bland, one request for a ‘hot’ dish was ignored and the dish up in question was less than mild, service staff laughed when questioned and said the chef was afraid to make it hot as we were westerners ! Very shabby behaviour. This is one never to be visited again.
Lovely food and great service. Would recommend for a catch up with friends.
Lovely hosts/staff. Could improve the service with a few simple touches. Remove the stack of spare unused plates left sitting beside your customers. Get rid of the broken menu with old (lower) prices. After pointing it out, some jokes, then guided to use alternate (current price) menu. Staff missed opportunity to up-sell with zero check-ins during meal. No offer for Tibetan deserts or coffee. When finished, we weren't provided option to see a bill. Instead, we waited at bar to hear the tally, and pay.
Staff were welcoming and provided recommendations and info about the menu. Service was quick and food delicious. Loved the momos and aloo chop - lips were tingling!
Delicious food, full of amazing flavours, meat so tender. Friendly and helpful servers.
Very fun! Would come again! Good atmosphere and great service
A wide range of delicious vegetarian options, great before a show at the theatre next door.
Great ambience and fast service. Value for money dining experience.
Such a great place! Loved our food and service. Will definitely be back.
Service was very good and the food was very fresh an didn’t take long. Also there is plenty of parking outside.
The food was superb the service excellent the ambiance perfect the parking a breeze
Absolutely amazing food and staff. Will be returning very soon.
Best food EVER. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is relaxing and the staff are friendly and very helpful.
The food and service were amazing, the ambiance well suited the venue, the only hitch was a single bill that we were over charged on Everything else exceptional
The service and food are always excellent. Also great that we can take our own wine.
3 People in our party - 3 different main meals, 3 different entrees and a lentil soup. We all thought the person (older woman) was absolutely abysmal. Not friendly at all, not helpful, abrupt - not a pleasant experience. The food did not look appetizing - Samosas were hard, tough and tasted old. Spring rolls were terrible. Momo's were very small and I have had better at a market...The lentil soup was ok but very salty and very thin. The main meals were below average not all that palatable looking. I was looking forward to going there with my sister and niece - we ordered vegan meals - some discrepancy on the menu as to what is vegan and what is not...? I am not so sure that what they say is vegan IS VEGAN? AS A STRICT VEGAN I WILL NOT BE EATING THERE AGAIN. WE ALSO ASKED FOR THE FRESH ORANGE JUICE AS LISTED ON THE DRINKS MENU - "NO WE DON'T HAVE THAT"...WE THEN ASKED FOR THE GINGER BEER..."NO WE DON'T HAVE THAT"...WE SETTLED FOR WATER. I love Tibetan food but will NOT BE GOING BACK TO THIS RESTAURANT AGAIN! Perhaps it was a karmic journey...Namaste
Great food; very exotic; great wines and atmosphere. Close to Arts theatre
some confusion on our part on what the dishes were as they arived at the table
Always a pleasant atmosphere, and reminded us of Nepal. Food was great
Had a cracking meal there with 3 guests before the State Of Origin game at Suncorp Stadium. Couldn't have been more impressed. Was also BYO wine.
Food was excellent. Authentic and flavorsome. Good value for money which is a refreshing change to many restaurants.
Delicious food in an interesting traditional setting.....highly recommend for a step up/change from Indian cuisine. The lime, coconut ginger sauce for our prawn dish was exceptional :)
The food is delicious, the service is fast and it is good value.
Great overall, would definitely recommend and dine there again. :)
Great place was offered a lovely area to sit in a private corner cushions on the ground low table was so comfortable 。 The food was delicious came quickly despite many diners will go again five star!
Awesome food and service. Good value for money. Highly recommend.
The food was tasteless, a little salt never hurt the tastebuds. The service was ok but we've been there tried it and I am sure others may like it but it wasnt for us.
The momo was as I remember it - delicious. Cheap and cheerful place with efficient service - the floor needs a good wash as it was a bit slippery
Nice welcome and we were directed to a table for 2 promptly. It was a bit slow after that. We allowed plenty of time as we were going into the Theatre next door by 8pm. (Just made it). Staff are not slick or fast but they do get the job done eventually. The Momo was very tasty but if we had known how filling it was, we would have chosen 2 entrees instead of a main course afterwards! It IS a BYO..... which is not clear on the website. Knowing that would have answered my initial question.
It was good, enjoyed the chicken mommos a lot , we will definitely will be returning to this restaurant.! ! ! :) :) :) :)
We enjoyed our trip to Tibet....the flavours, the music, the people. Quite different to any other cuisine we have tried......somewhere perhaps between Indian and Thai?
Unfortunately it was not a very nice experience. The restaurant had 4 tables of people when we arrived and it still took 55 min before our meal came. When it did they served my partner first and I have to wait another 10 mins for my meal. I ordered a goat curry. The broth was very nice and the rest was bone. I left hungry. There were 4 noisy fans in the dining area and very bright flashing fairy lights wound around some prayer wheels. The ambience was far from desirable. If you are looking for a nice evening out go else where.
excellent food all round, and nice friendly service amd atmosphere. first time i have eaten at this location, but will eat here again, easy to access and park
I love the food the Tibetan Bread in particular. All their curries are great and it is a convenient pre-theatre venue. I would recommend it.
Great menu although we were disappointed that all the prawn dishes were unavailable. Delicious food overall (Pakhoras were slightly burnt). Service was not great. Atmosphere improved just before we left. Good décor.
Lovely staff, amazing food and a gorgeous cultural atmosphere (with music to match). Book the Tibetan or Sherpa room if you’re heading out with a group of friends for a sweeter dining experience!
