charging us 20 $ for rice was way too much..... The service was not friendly.. There was no wrapping for the duck pancakes..... This was probably our last visit.

The pancakes were awesome and our main meal of fish and prawn curry was as good as ever. Lanna then gave us a mango desert which was a lovely touch . A wonderful restaurant which hasn’t changed in 30 years!! We will be back

Food is lovely! Pancakes are so crispy and salad & sauce are so refreshing! Out of the many Vietnamese restaurants in Australia, this is the only one that removed the root of beansprouts for its pho noodle! Amazing! Simply love the broth. Pork belly with noodle is another delicious must-try dish.

We much appreciated the excellent service we received, considering it was a busy Valentines night at the restaurant. The courses were served promptly, and it all tasted delicious, loved all the fresh ingredients! We've been going to Trans for the past 27 years, and the quality of Lanna's cuisine has remained right up there! A true Sydney gem of a restaurant.

The restaurant offers exceptional cuisine. However, a miscommunication arose when we, a group of four, aimed to share four entrees and four mains (one each), but the waitress, misunderstanding our request due to most entrees being for two, ordered double the amount. Despite feeling full and a bit disappointed with the surplus, the owner noticed and suggested dropping two mains we ordered, we did, but it was disappointing as we didn't get the variety we wanted and the cost was high considering we didn't want all those double entrees. Clearer communication and training for staff could enhance the experience as I was left a little frustrated that they didn’t acknowledge their obvious mistake, the owner's attentiveness after the fact and the delicious food made our evening enjoyable.

We have visited quite a few times. Very friendly owner and always a great Vietnamese dining experience. Our party was vegetarian and there is an excellent choice and quality of plant based/vegetarian meals. Also the owner told us they make their own tofu - certainly tastes like it 🙂

Awful Trans use to be one of our favourite restaurant but we will never go back. Trans has always been expensive but it use to be worth it not anymore. The food we had last night would have been disappointing at a $10 all you can eat buffet. Not only was the food terrible but the restaurant smelt of mould and was unclean. To add insult to injury they charged $18 for 1 small bottle of home made ‘sparkling water” The mail dishes around the $40 mark and would struggle to satisfy at the above mentioned $10 all you can eat buffet. The dishes are also very small, but that’s Ok because they are so bad you don’t want much anyway. Trans use to be a Mosman favourite but not anymore. Give Trans a big miss!

Wonderful hospitality and consistently good food. Sometimes difficult to hear each other, we're probably not used to being in restaurants again!
