Would highly recommend this restaurant for a great middle eastern experience.

We went here last night for my partners’s birthday dinner. The staff were friendly and efficient and despite being a full house we were served quickly all night. Shortly after arrival the belly dancing began, which created a great vibe in the restaurant. We ordered a banquet which was a lot of food but if you don’t load up on the bread right at the start you should do just fine at getting through it. Dips and salads were great. Hot mezze - falafel was a little dry but the meat pastry (not sure the name) was yum. Seafood (butterflied prawn, baby octopus and s&p squid) were all delicious! The chicken in the mixed grill was a highlight, but I found the lamb to be a touch on the dry side, but still very nice. The sauces served with each course were a perfect accompaniment. We followed the banquet with dessert - a yummy pistachio ice cream and rice pudding. The rose water in the rice pudding was quite overpowering so I could only manage a small amount but my partner happily polished it off! Now that we’ve sampled a good selection off the menu we’d definitely go back and just order our faves and perhaps try something new. Overall had a great night!

It was a great place to show our friends the true Lebanese dining experience. The food tasted so close to the traditional style cooking we grew up with.

Pre theatre dinner for 9 people including late arrivals. Food was delicious, service good and despite the late arrivals still got us out on time. Would visit again.

Food is incredible, great service, perfect balance of professionalism and friendliness! We've eaten in a heap of Lebanese restaurants but this tops the charts by a long shot. The Zahli banquet was unreal! We'll most definitely be back!
