Food and service was fabulous. We had a short time frame and there was no sense of a rushed feeling by the staff at all.

Food and service were excellent. But .... you would expect that at the particular price point that they would have something other than plastic salt and pepper grinders.

As usual enjoyed dinner At Fernando's. Great selection of starters and salads. A long list of delicious mains plus a choice of pizzas. One big advantage it's BYO with reasonable corkage. Strongly recommends it.

Lovely Italian restaurant. Nice vibe and good food. Not too fancy and not too casual. They have deals for the movies across the road too!

Food Average. Mains came out before we had finished starters. Noisy in restaurant and loud music upstairs = poor atmosphere. Some of the waitresses gave poor service.

I had a birthday voucher and was treated like a special customer. I also have some food intolerances and every effort was made to accommodate my intolerances. There were four of us and we all enjoyed our food and the service.

Service was great. Other dishes that people had were nice. My dish was a little basic. The pasta dish was tasty but other than the prawns sitting on top it was a bit basic. Not much other than just pasta. Also a young group for 16th Birthday was there. A little noisey. Regards Debbie

We booked for 6pm on a Friday evening. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. After we ordered there was a steady stream of Italian people which clearly showed this place must be good. Pizza was great, the base is really good. Asparagus ravioli also excellent. The vegetarian risotto sauce was a bit salty but the ingredients were fine.

THE FOOD WAS GOOD AND THE SERVICE WAS GOOD. THE WINE LIST WAS LIMITED. WOULD GO BACK IF IN THE AREA. PROBABLY SLIGHTLY EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT I RECEIVED.

Average at best. - Limited wine list and the only Italian wine was unavailable - We were told that the bottle we wanted could be sourced and chilled in time, but nobody actioned this - Entrees came out with the mains which meant most of the second entree (garlic pizza) went to waste - We were told we would be given a stand for our garlic pizza, which never arrived - We weren’t given fresh cutlery for our mains - Our side plates were removed from the table while the entrees were still there so even if we wanted to eat them, it would’ve been awkward - After receiving our first drinks, we were not offered another drink for the remainder of the evening before we decided to leave - Food was passable but stodgy and not very authentic - We were ignored by a waitress as we entered the venue. No greeting. Nothing. In a competitive market like Sydney this just isn’t good enough I’m afraid

My family and I had a lovely a'la Carte lunch on Mother's Day at Fernandos. I was so pleased to find a restaurant that didn't have a set menu for this event since our family are not big eaters.... We had three different main courses that were all delicious ( much to the credit of the cooks on such a busy day where every table in the restaurant was occupied). The risotto, the salt'in bocca veal and the chicken dish were exceptional.. Service was good and the atmosphere congenial..some of the customers became rather lound as the wine and the lunch progressed but quite acceptable on an occasion such as this.

Pizzas are great, pastas average, it was lovely sitting outside, service was very good. It's a fantastic venue for a large party. I really like the music, makes for a great atmosphere. Would definitely return, maybe after a movie, it's close to Palace cinema.

The service was great . Meals didn’t take long and the flavour of my penne ai gamberi was awesome . I also had the creme brûlée abdcit was delicious . Value for money was great . Vicinity to the cinema and getting the discount was the cherry on the ice cream . Also , loved the music ; it helped to the very Italian atmosphere .

I love the food and your prices give value-for-money. You are my nearest local Italian restaurant and I've now been coming to you several times a year for the past 4 years since I moved to Leichhardt, I've brought neighbours, friends and relatives to join me for celebrations and just because we wanted Italian. And, although the food is wonderful, there is one big BUT.... and the reason why I cannot give you a higher mark. The Service is very poor. On absolutely every visit I, or one of my party, have had to get up from the table, approach a member of the serving staff and ask for something - more drinks, the dessert menu, a clean napkin or something. Staff are always polite and helpful when they are AT the table, but getting them to be proactive and COME to the table seems to be impossible. I haven't given up yet with the staff but am beginning to think I need to find another 'local Italian'.

We had a lovely evening to celebrate my birthday. My only reason for not giving a higher ranking is the lack of vegetarian options on the menu as two of my guests were left with very limited choices when told that one of the few vegetarian dishes was not available. Apart from that, as always the food and service was excellent.

We're sorry to say our meal was not great. Having eaten at Fernandos over a long time - a good family option, our meal last night was below standard and that's disappointing. The service was fine, but the prawns were overcooked, the bruschetta skimpy, the marinara unpleasant and the pizzas slightly burned. We would give it another try if it promised to improve, but...

The food was overall not to bad but we have to say that the service staff well lets just say very poor which was admitted to us from I think the Manager. Coming from a hospitality background I would expect to notch service to compliment the price of dinning these days not only here but right across the sector. We have tried it but will not return as we drove from out near the mountains to dine here. A fail in our eyes but that is just our experience.

We went to At Fernando's for a special occasion dinner, and were impressed by their willingness to let us bring our own cake, which they not only kept for us but brought out with three wait staff to sing Happy Birthday. Very high marks for pleasant and accommodating service. Food was good (spatchcock, pizza, ravioli and linguine) and choice was reasonable. I would probably rate 4.5 if it was an option - the negatives were: service efficiency didn't quite match its pleasant attitude (we had to struggle a bit to get our bill); main courses came with very little except the featured food (that is, no starch or vegetables accompanied my very tasty spatchcock), so meal wasn't quite filling enough. Pasta serving sizes were perhaps a bit small. Overall, though, it was an enjoyable evening, and the minor gaps in service can easily be overcome.
