Currency Cafe

The evening was faultless in every way. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and servings were generous. This will definitely be one of my regular places to visit.

Fantastic restaurant, the service was fantastic and staff where extremely friendly and helpful. The meals themselves where extremely reasonably priced and of high quality. We couldn't have been happier with the evening and will definitely bbe returning and telling all of our friends.

Excellent, food and service and very convenient location, easy to get a parking space and fabulous the way we can choose to be seated outside enabling us to take our dogs.

Good service and great food. Fish was grilled perfectly nice salad and good fat chips. Companion claimed his steak was a little over, but he's not happy with anything. Good honest food.

I like the fact that I could book online. The breakfast selection was good. I had the Eggs Benedict which was very nice. My friend had eggs and bacon on toast. Good size servings and great coffee.

Excellent service, good menu choices, easy access (our group included a member to be dropped off close as poss. to door) value for money, have been before will certainly go again🤗

Had scollops & chips though nice they were cold. Making the reservation through Quandoo was quick & easy with a back up email was good

meal was great waitress was very obliging but the atmosphere lacked something,maybe because we had an early reservation...but i would go again and try something else

lovely breakfast, eggs bacon tomato generous serve. had lunch recently. salmon patties were awful, dry couldn't taste salmon, only managed to eat half a one.

Service was good at a busy time. Little disappointed with my meal choice of Zucchini & sumac fritters which didn't have much flavour. May have been improved with a tasty relish added.

Great staff. Accommodated our toddler with drawings and special attention. Steak over cooked unfortunately but given discount to make amends. Lasagne was great if a little spicy.

Extensive menu, reasonably priced and our food was cooked to perfection. All staff were professional, helpful and friendly. A great atmosphere but we felt the table arrangements were a little tight. Recommended dining.

Would have liked more toast with my two eggs rather than just one small piece for $14. Had to pay more to get more toast.

Lovely breakfast and the service was great. It was very early Sunday morning. It was hard to find somewhere that was open so early, spot on Currency :-)

Reception and service were excellent. Soup was a little bit dodgy, but acceptable, and my companion was very happy with her meal. On- line booking worked well.

Great service and our 2 year old was well catered for. The quality of the food and coffees was also top notch and we all had a great time.

The service was fantastic and coffee delicious. 2 of the meals were amazing, however the pancakes were overcooked and too crunchy so were not very enjoyable.

Currency Cafe is the best. Friendly staff, great service, wonderful coffee and our meal was huge. This is our third visit and it will not be our last.

Service and food were fine. Lovely location. They have just changed to their spring menu, which looks nice enough but I did prefer the previous one.

Excellent prompt service and tasty food. There was a good atmosphere and the possibility of outside dining weather permitting. Will return with my friends in the future.

Currency Café was warm,inviting, service was quick,allowed us time to look at the menu and didn't give us the feeling that we had to hurry.

Friendly service. Good menu with cheaper options as well as traditional dinner choices. As a newcomer to Hobart I plan to be a regular. ☺

Great food and friendly and attentive service! Thank you! We all had really nice meals. Only downsides: it was a cold night so each time the doors opened, brrrrr and not many there for the evening session.

Food was very nice, service prompt and efficient, prices very reasonable. Would happily go back again for a meal (went for lunch). Coffee was good and hot.
