Excellent staff and food as always. matching french wines with degustation menu was sublime
At Xmas lunch here with family. Food was excellent - very generous portions. Staff were very attentive and enjoyed ambience. Definitely going back for a dinner in the new year.
Great food, friendly service as always. One on the nicest restaurants in Crows Nest. I don't want to recommend too highly or I might not get a table if too busy.
The food was nice but no wow therefore too expensive . Too many steak Choices for a French Resraurant The drinks were cold but not really cold
Good service. Not pretentious. Relaxed environment. Good wine list. We had great time :). Will come back to try more food. Had the twice cooked goat cheese soufflé which I am not normally a big fan of but this one is very well cooked and fresh cheese is being used.
I brought a few friends to this restaurant to celebrate a colleague's birthday as she was feeling homesick (she's French and comes from Lyon). The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. They were excellent hosts and made the occasion very special. This place is an excellent establishment and I will be coming here more often for special occasions. -Kind regards, James
Magic entree of gazpacho with poached salmon and chorizo. Main courses were excellent, dessert a bit ordinary. The service was brilliant. French staff in a French restaurant really added to the atmosphere.
The food is divine. Classic French food served by some of the happiest waiters in Sydney. The twice baked souffle is delicious as is the duck liver parfait, the pork and rabbit roulade, ile flotante, raspberry creme brulee, the salmon, the bisque, ... let me just give you whole menu. Love Love Love this restaurant.
Great authentic food and a varied menu of meats and fish. Traditional cuisine and nice specials, plus a great value 3-course offer. Terrific service. Central location in this dining hub. Easy parking a short stroll away.
It was a pleasure to find lighter selections of delicious French cuisine as well as their traditional dishes. Really enjoyed the dinner and will definitely return. Excellent selection of wines and attentive service.
Had dinner with work colleagues, their first time and they were very impressed and very happy with the food. The main courses were very well received.
Food was wonderful and service was fantastic. Our friend had a wonderful birthday dinner. Highly recommend the duck. Glad we booked as it was a full restaurant before 7pm.
Excellent service & the food is beautiful. This was a Beaujolais evening with a degustation menu. It’s quite a noisy restaurant with all hard surfaces, but the staff are friendly, speak good English & are very attentive. Too much food for me, but my husband ate everything. The option of cheese would have been nice to finish with.
Food was great and service efficient. We had the duck and rabbit mains. Really good. The starter goats cheese soufflé and scallop with blood sausage was a hit. Definite recommendation.
Fantastic French restaurant. The waiters not only speak French, they ARE French. Delicious authentic food. Loved the chocolate marquise. Excellent service. Great value for money.
The food is very nice and service friendly and efficient. Interesting menu that reflects traditional food from the region and the wine list has some good and reasonably priced wines from France and elsewhere. The menu option is great value.
Small portions especially the gnocchi. Fish was tasty. Food wasn’t amazing. Not sure if we will be coming back. Staff were friendly enough. Thank you
Great food, exceptional service, a convivial atmosphere. I have been to le Bouchon several times over a period and always found it worthy of praise.
1st time I've had a lychee cocktail without a lychee - poor. Scallop entree delicious. Gnocchi main course delicious but entree size and a case of "spot the gnocchi" - inadequate Crepe suzette delicious. Service very good as always Nice al fresco dining area.
Lovely food without the long wait and friendly waiter staff. Very much recommended.
This is the best French Bistro outside of France!!!! The food is amazing with a duck to die for The staff are fantastic and very accommodating.
Have frequented this restaurant since its opening. Always consistent with excellent traditional French food interesting daily specials, great unobtrusive service and not too pricey. Drinks are reasonably priced too with good range. Am always comfortable taking, or recommending, friends but suggest mid week if you can manage it as it can be a little noisy on weekends. Parking is easy, across the road in the council car park. I am sure you wii enjoy.
Excellent service. The food is always spot on and the wine list is perfect. You wont ever be disappointed by a meal here! Ten out of ten.
Food was pretty good but given their very ordinary wine list (eg just three options for Shiraz) no BYO on Saturday night means I am unlikely to go again.
It has great food, snails are delicious, good cocktails but beware it is NOT byo on Friday & Sunday. council Car park is very close.
This is the French bistro everyone wants in their suburb. Food always excellent and well priced, great wine list, Kronenbourg on tap + BYO wine. Love it!
This is an excellent restaurant: great service; wonderful, authentic food which far exceeded our expectations and amazing value. Will definitely be going back! Very enthusiastically recommended.
We had a very lovely dinner here. Cosy atmosphere. The first waiter was a little bit arrogant but all of the other staff were wonderful.
Lovely dinner with great service and wonderful food. Would recommend getting the three course special as you will want all the food. Five stars from me.
Traditional French food done very well. Beef cheeks were excellent as was the barramundi special, the deserts are worth waiting for - we had the crepe suzette and creme brule - classic french food. Definitely coming again.
Love going to Le Bouchon... food and staff are great... my sister and I had a very good night... we had the three course special and a few glasses of wine... the price is very reasonable...
All the food was delicious and wine was awesome. The service was great, everyone was very welcoming and helpful from when we got there. Would definitely go back.
Lovely ambience. The special - fillet of dory was gently cooked in a truffle sauce. Creme brule the highlight. Friendly service will definitely come again
The staff were very welcoming. The brunch food was good with some nice variations on the usual choices. We wanted champagne which was no problem. It took a little longer than we expected to order some deserts but they were delicious when they arrived. We had the Gourmand so we could share around. Coffee was good as well. More expensive than the surrounding cafes but a nicer atmosphere, licensed and high quality food.
Went for Bastille day lunch with set menu. The amuse buche and first and second course were served lukewarm. Service was spasmodic. A pity as have enjoyed previous lunches.
Truly French and very warm atmosphere with friendly staff, delicious food and a good wine selection. The scallops entree special was to die for and the mains were just as delicious. Highly recommended.
Beautiful food, excellent service. Julian has an understanding of being friendly and interacting with his clientelle without being intrusive. Can't wait to go back and sample some more of the very well balanced menu.
Wonderful French restaurant. Exquisite food. Excellent but very expensive French wine selection. Classy, authentic service and a perfect ambience. My friends and I loved it! A bientot!
Wait staff were friendly. Food was good. I would have liked if our waitress sent our order to the kitchen earlier. She waited for an hour while we smacked on our charcuterie, and had to ask.
We have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The boulabaisse can be highly recommended and the twice cooked blue cheese soufflé is outstanding
