The food at Le Bouchon is of a very high standard and the staff are friendly and efficient. The scallops were some of the best I've had and my dinner companions were equally happy with their meals. Will definitely be returning.

The food was impeccable. All members of Our group enjoyed their dinner and desert. The young man who served us and looked after us was very friendly, helpful and courteous. We were seated outside and it was a bit hot - maybe a fan for hot humid days would be good. Will visit again.

Tres magnifique! Staff were very welcoming and looked after our table of 4 in an attentive but not overbearing way. Food was great, scallops entree delicious, as was the steak main. Gnocchi also delicious.

Excellent service and food as always. Attentive to the needs of the guests. Water always filled without having to ask and service is slick. Quality of food high.

Wonderful bistro with great staff and excellent food. It's a wonderful neighborhood venue, and I'm glad to take the journey up to Crow's Nest for the experience.

Service is very efficient and friendly. Food overall very good, although duck skin on breast not crispy enough. Escargot excellent; wagyu roast rump perfectly cooked. Dessert platter and cheese platter very generous. Altogether, a good experience. Try to sit near the entrance if you don’t like noise.

Le Bouchon is a gem in the strip at Crows Nest, with authentic French cuisine at affordable prices. We had the escargot, sans shells, which are excellent, and then the duck and calf's liver for our main dish, all washed down with the just arrived Beaujolais. This is the 2nd time I've eaten here, and it's on my favorite's list. Having had lunch before and dinner last night, I'll have to try their breakfast.

Very noisy and quite expensive and my husband was a little ill after his meal ( spatchcock) possibly more rich than he is used to.

We enjoyed our evening very much. The service was excellent, food delicious and lots of variety on the menu. Would be a very suitable place to have a larger group as there is a space at the rear of the restaurant for about 40 people to be served separately. Convenient to local parking. Excellent - we will be back.

Great food. Nice ambiance. Lovely staff. The only negative is the web site didn't make it clear that it was licenced only on Friday and Saturday nights. Added $50 to ur bill for a bottle of wine when we had a beautiful bottle with us that we wanted to share

Small friendly local restaurant. They offer many wines by the glass and lunch specials. The staff are all very helpful and friendly. If you are a offal lover, phone the day before and they will prepare dishes such as kidneys or liver for you.

Food and service as always was excellent. It has a lovely atmosphere for both dinner for two or a small group and in summer it's lovely to sit outside and watch the world go by. I thoroughly enjoy going there.

Good traditional Lyonese food . Presentation of food can be improved especially the snails. Snails should be in a snail dish and was cold when served so we sent it back for reheating.

Unpretentious french bistro. Good value. We had twice cooked cheese soufflé, Duck confit and a clafoutis all of which were well prepared. Only two waitstaff in our area didn't keep us waiting.

The restaurant was quite busy at lunch time on a weekday but the food arrived quite quickly. We had the pork rillette baguette plus the duck breast & confit duck leg. The baguette was crispy & nice but the pork rillette could have been a bit more. The duck leg was nice, not too salty.

A very nice approach to a lighter degustation for Valentine's Day. Staff very friendly and menu well balanced between light starters with lamb two ways- the slow cooked shoulder divine-& chocolate dessert share platter perfect for chocoholics which is acceptable on that particular day. We loved it but some might have found a bit rich.

I guess it depends on what you order. I had the duck. I thought the duck tasted a little old and/or overcooked, nevertheless it was tasty. Others at my table had the fish of the day and were quite pleased with it. I also had a pork belly entree, which was a special on the day-got fat and a taste of meat but the crackling was perfect. Others had the double-baked blue cheese and zucchini-their verdict? delicious. Everyone was very happy with their desserts. It's not the best French restaurant/bistro I've been to but it holds the fort. Oh, and if you're there on a Winter's day, as we were ,ask for a table at the back of the restaurant. We kept on getting gusts of cold air as the door opened.

Good food and friendly service. Noise level is rather high, as in so many modern restaurants , as the surfaces are hard. Go on a quiet night or lunchtime.

We have just discovered this little restaurant and enjoyed it so much we took 4 friends there last week . The service was very good and the French wine, and food were excellent, very authentic French flavours. We enjoyed escargots, cheese souffle, confit of duck, plus crème brûlée for dessert. We will all be returning soon.
