Delicious food, great service - we had the 3 courses and even the kids meals were top class! Everyone loved the little aperitif snails! Great
We were most impressed with the food and the very friendly service. It is our first visit and we will be back. In fact we are returning on Wednesday 12/7. Our friends we dined with were also very happy and plan to return. Thanks Robyn
delighted with casual decor and menu was very French. Loved it all.Charming wait persons, who were very French and attentive. Am taking 6 friends again end of month \
Booking worked out perfectly and was easy to do. Restaurant known to us and we've been there many times. Lived up to usual high standards.
We had Claire a lovely young French lady serve us all night, she has only been in Australia a couple of months and excellent waitress. All the staff at Le Bouchon are very polite & friendly.
Wonderfully authentic French cuisine and staff. A delight. Finding parking is a bit tricky in Crows Nest but the Council carpark seems to be the best bet. Will go again.
A very nice approach to a lighter degustation for Valentine's Day. Staff very friendly and menu well balanced between light starters with lamb two ways- the slow cooked shoulder divine-& chocolate dessert share platter perfect for chocoholics which is acceptable on that particular day. We loved it but some might have found a bit rich.
Service was a bit slow but food was great! We were sitting outside maybe that's why it was slow.. maybe they should greet everyone with a basket of bread!
My friend and I went to Le Bouchon for lunch. Everything about our experience was exceptional. We hope to return soon, next time with more people.
Went there for my birthday dinner with family and friends. Lovely food, ambience and excellent service. Found it to be quite expensive - but great for a special occasion.
I guess it depends on what you order. I had the duck. I thought the duck tasted a little old and/or overcooked, nevertheless it was tasty. Others at my table had the fish of the day and were quite pleased with it. I also had a pork belly entree, which was a special on the day-got fat and a taste of meat but the crackling was perfect. Others had the double-baked blue cheese and zucchini-their verdict? delicious. Everyone was very happy with their desserts. It's not the best French restaurant/bistro I've been to but it holds the fort. Oh, and if you're there on a Winter's day, as we were ,ask for a table at the back of the restaurant. We kept on getting gusts of cold air as the door opened.
Good food and friendly service. Noise level is rather high, as in so many modern restaurants , as the surfaces are hard. Go on a quiet night or lunchtime.
A delightful evening, we enjoyed ourselves trying l'escargots, crepe suzettes and boeuf bourgignon. Great service and will look forward to trying more in the future.
We had breakfast there on the weekend, having previously visited for dinner. It's a great spot for breakfast - delicious french food and good coffee in a great venue.
We have just discovered this little restaurant and enjoyed it so much we took 4 friends there last week . The service was very good and the French wine, and food were excellent, very authentic French flavours. We enjoyed escargots, cheese souffle, confit of duck, plus crème brûlée for dessert. We will all be returning soon.
Food and wine was very good and staff are always very pleasant and courteous ... all very authentic... we will certainly be dining at Le Bouchon again...
Great good, we had the plat du jour which was steak with Bernaise sauce followed by rhubarb creme brûlée. They were both delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. Very impressed, will definitely go back.
A hidden, simple, little gem with beautiful french classic food with complete with flavoursome sauces and nice wine to boot. Highly recommend the beef cheeks. Great friendly staff as well.
Interesting French spin on breakfast, wonderful to have something different, Great service and food, we will be back to try the dinner menu (and to have breakfast again). A new local regular.
Great food and reasonable value. Will certainly go back for the 3 course special. Beef cheeks were a standout dish and blue cheese soufflé is great!
Amazing food - one of the best meals we have had in Sydney and great service! Couldn't give a higher review, I will be recommending to anyone looking for a spot to dine :). Well done.
Excellent service and very delicious french food. Price was worth the food. Overall, had an amazing evening here. Would definitely come back! So highly recommend
