**Review of Mark and Vinnies** I recently visited Mark and Vinnies, primarily because it was one of the few places open on a Monday in Surry Hills. Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Upon arrival, my friend and I were seated at a four-person table, which seemed generous until we realized why. When we placed our order, choosing items from the snack, entrée, sides, and main sections, everything was brought out simultaneously. This created a chaotic dining experience where we had to eat everything quickly to avoid our food getting cold. The dips, which arrived without bread, added to the disarray. The service was particularly disappointing. Despite the restaurant being far from busy (only three tables were occupied), it was nearly impossible to get a waiter’s attention. Empty cups and plates remained on our table for over 40 minutes without being cleared. When we finally stacked four empty plates due to the lack of space, a waiter approached and simply asked if we were finished with them, which was both baffling and frustrating. Given this experience, I would not recommend Mark and Vinnies, even if it is one of the only places open on Mondays. The poor service and disorganized food presentation made for an unenjoyable meal.

The food was fantastic and service was top notch. The Ragu pasta is my recommendation from the owners of the restaurant directly. The overall ambience of the atmosphere was lovely, making it a fun and cosy restaurant.

Such a great restaurant! The food is fantastic, lots of gluten free options. Service is warm and welcoming. And the spritz menu is fun. My only suggestions for improvement would be to have more gluten free dessert options and to up the quality of the bathrooms. Will be back :)

Service and ambience were fantastic. To be honest, we thought food was a bit lacking in taste. It was definitely well curated, but bit of a hit and miss for us. Servings a tad too small as well. Although, we celebrated a friend's birthday and brought our own cake. Very nice gesture of them to store and serve it without any extra corkage. Overall, a pleasant experience.

The service was very slow initially and then became incredibly rushed as they wanted us off the table by a certain time. They removed plates with food still on it, while people were still eating.

Our first visit to Mary + Vinny's was great! The restaurant had a great vibe, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Having vegan and non-vegan options suited our party very well, with our different dietary requirements. We would highly recommend visiting this wonderful restaurant :)

I can’t speak highly enough of Mark & Vinny’s. We are regular customers because the service, food and atmosphere are great. The staff are friendly, Vincenzo remembers everyone’s names, no one is overbearing, and the food is absolutely delicious.
