Food is delicious, service is good, location is great. The staff are terrific with handling special dietary requirements, without making you feel like a nuisance. All round, a winner.

Monday night is Pizza night! Half price and full flavour with vegetarian options and a variety which makes me think of coming back ASAP. Book ahead or be disappointed- each table was taken or reserved at 6.15pm!

Food was beautiful is always, but we had to wait ages for it. something must have gone really wrong in the kitchen. staff was really apologistic

The food is very tasty but apart from the pizzas, the portions are very small. Service was quick and efficient. Staff is friendly. Great location.

Mr Lawrence is in a great location. The front tables have a great view of Bay. The wine list is quite good. A bit noisy.

Mr Lawrence never lets us down. We went for rubber on our wedding anniversary and as always there was great service and food. One of our favourite restaurants in Melbourne.

Great food, great service. We had a combination of the entree's and two main courses which were all prepared beautifully and tasted just as good.

Mr Lawrence is a fabulous restaurant with wonderful and delicious food. There are so many great items and a wonderful wine list too. The service is excellent too.

Food was great. Service was good but an open door had a considerable cold draft blowing on us for some time. Have spotted a cosier looking nook for our next visit.

Delish Food, a little pricey and only problem was bringing the flat bread out after we had the dip so, we paid for somethign we couldnt eat as we ate teh dip assuming hte flat bread with it was all that we got.

Great atmosphere with excellent share plates. Turkish pizza was a stand out. Pricing is reasonable and service good with a comprehensive wine list also at reasonable prices.

Been going to MrLawrence for year with out a problem. This time had the chicken wings and was sick all night and next morning. Had to be the chicken wings as no one else on the table ear the chicken wings

Food was amazing and a great wine list. Service was very good and friendly - only marked down slightly because they forgot water and had to ask a few times for it. Apart from that it was a wonderful experience and would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

The food at Mr Lawrence is very good. Highly recommend the squid and the meatballs. Prices for wine are on the high side but there is a nice selection to choose from.

Sometimes good, sometimes average - this time very average. Food is getting more expensive and the chicken wings were deep fried and terrible. Service was just ok. Mr Lawrence could make a lot more money for drinks if they actually asked if the customer would like a drink.

Too much smoke coming out from the fire place. I have gone several time and every time they are fixing it but nothing happens. Food excellent.

We had a big group of 11 people for dinner; and as always at Mr Lawrence the food was delicious and staff were very attentive

Great food and service. The mojiti however was lacking alcohol and lime. Waiting staff was polite and attentive. Food was served very quickly. Overall a good experience.

Disappointing. I was really looking forward to this one but food, prices did not match my expectations. Table service by young lady friendly but mine host not outgoing.

The pizzas are a definite fav on a Monday night. Always a good vibe in the restaurant and great service. Would recommend the lamb pizza.

The Turkish pizzas were magnificent and were on special at $10 each it being Monday night. We chose to eat there before boarding the Spirit of Tasmania, very close to the restaurant, for a Tasmanian holiday.

Good flavours and an interesting menu. We really liked the in house smoked trout. Good wine list and nice ambience- even if a little noisy. Ask for a table at the window... Nice water view!

Asked for the cauliflower fritters, they weren't fritters they were cauliflower dipped in a rubbish coating and half cooked. Also the server dipped her finger into our sauce bowl and then proceeded to say sorry but didn't get us a new one. Overpriced for not that great fod and the chairs were so bloody uncomfortable.

Great place right on the beach. Food is always good and staff are helpful. Good tap beer and have a revolving tap which is always nice

We had a lovely girls catch up. Initially, We were missing our fav summer menu dishes, but thoroughly enjoyed cauliflower fritters, Moroccan fish cakes, pork belly and the pumpkin dip was amazing. Very friendly service. Love that Mr Lawrence is a local for us!

the food is always amazing! this time the service wasn't great but that was very unusual and I have never experienced that before. The atmosphere is always great and has an extensive drinks menu.

Love Mr. Lawrence..we had my husband's memorial upstairs. Food great... staff were kind and caring. Peter and I had many delicious meals over the years at Mr. Lawrence which is why we chose to celebrate his life looking out at the view of the water.

Best Turkish pizzas! Love it in summer to sit outside in the sun and have dinner and a couple of drinks, highly recommend in summer

Food, service and ambience excellent. It was a very successful evening. Will definately be back with a different group of friends I can highly recommend this venue.

Brilliant service, beers, and always delicious food. The pizzas with prawn and haloumi are so good! Try a beer paddle if you want to taste a good range of local craft beers.

The food was great and the atmosphere was lovely. There is a great selection on the menu of both food and beverages. The pizza is amazing as well! I would definitely go again!

As always, beautiful fresh food, great service, cosy warm atmosphere, great coffee, great time had by all. Love there new dessert range, fresh and sublime. Highly recommended!

The food was great. The service very average. We sat and watched our drinks on the bar for 10 minutes. We finally gave up waiting and got them ourselves. The foreign waiter was gruff and he made you feel a pest.

everything we ate was very enjoyable. all 4 dishes were flavoursome, tender and we wanted to try more. excellent 'modern' middle eastern food. everyone must go!

After very short notice Mr Lawrence accommodated our group of 13 adults and four children. The service and food was great. We left it to the kitchen to provide our group with a selection of sharing plates and everyone loved their choices.

We visited for Saturday lunch with a group of friends and had a lovely time. Delicious food and outstanding service. We all decided we will definitely return. Mr Lawrence is a winner!

As always, good food, great staff in a relaxing environment. The food is always freshly cooked and generous in serve. Mr Lawrence makes great Turkish pizza, meatballs and the best flat bread. The staff are friendly and efficient and keep an eye out for the needs of the diners. The room is warm and cosy with the wood fire and the views are so beautifully Melbourne Ports!

Given the amount of staff in the venue The service was exceptionally slow. It took 20 minutes to our first drinks order in. At the end of the night the staff mopped the toilet but didn't leave a sign. A member of our group fell and hurt herself

Great food , great service ! Would happily become a regular :) The location is beautiful and the favourite would have to be the Moroccan fish cakes. So much more to try though.

Lovely environment, beautiful food and attentive staff. $135 for dinner for two sharing, including 2 entrees, 1 main, 2 desserts and a bottle of wine. Will be back.
