Great ambience love the decoration at the new home of Mr Lawrence Food is great menu still the same one of my absolute favourites is the Vegetable Tagine with Zucchini fritters . We are regular visitors to this wonderful place with its beautiful view .

WE had a Friday evening booking and it could not have been more enjoyable. Fabulous food and friendly staff. Great cold beer on tap and a great view.

A great time had by all... as usual, the food and atmosphere were perfect for a Sat afternoon lunch by the water. Relaing and comfortable.

The venue was dull and uncomfortable. The food and drinks were very expensive and not really enjoyable as the portions were very small. Would not go there again.

It is a casual restaurant but the venue, the location and the food was great. We ordered 4 dishes to share and everything we ordered was tasty.

Back again for another great feed. Variety of food and a diverse wine list with good service in a lovely old building right by the bay.

Mr L always provide great food, good wines and lovely service. It's a great place, lunch or dinner. We are very happy it's our 'local'.

I had dinner at the restaurant on NYE. The food was delicious, I particularly enjoyed the pork belly special, and it came out very quickly. The service was very good and it was all reasonably priced. I am definitely going back and have already recommended it to my friends.

Fabulous food and even better service. The recommended shared dishes were spot on. Mr Lawrence never fails to disappoint and would recommend eating here in a heartbeat.

Great quality ingredients and very friendly service. Nice new location with beautiful views from the second floor. Looking forward to our next visit to Mr Lawrence.

The food was amazing. Every dish was delicious and fresh. Unfortunately the service was terrible until I believe the manager took over. We were a party of 3. We sat at our table for 25 minutes till we had to ask for menus and water ( all other tables we given them straight away) We ordered drinks to start. We had to wave the waiter down 20 minutes later to place our order. He repeated the order, so all good. The food started arriving but our drinks we ordered prior hadn't arrived. Flagged down the waiter to follow up. They were sitting on the bar waiting to be delivered ( I assume had been there quite a while ) We finished the first 3 dishes . . where are the other 2 ?? which were a salad and fries so shouldn't take 20 minutes longer than the other hot dishes we already had. Flag down the waiter again . . . .I think I forgot to order them was his response !! We flagged down a different waiter to order an addition dish. We expressed our disappointment with the service so far and he replied that he was not responsible for the area we are seated in. . .So, the manager I believe came and took over. She was great, full of personality, energy, checking on us, see if we wanted anything else. It was a great experience from there on . . I suppose, I'm disappointed there was no apology, no offer of service recovery not a free drink or a free dish was offered. Especially when 60% of the evening we endured careless and unorganised service. I think we were unluckly. . I would still highly recommend this venue for the great food and location if nothing else.

Delicious savoury dishes, best Turkish pizzas! The desserts were a bit hit and miss. What about something simple like medjool sticky date pudding or fresh Turkish delight?

The service was very good and the food was just what we wanted, sharing and flavoursome. There was a mixup with our table but the staff sorted it in a really professional manner

Excellent food , great atmosphere. Staff were personable without being overbearing. Staff had excellent knowledge of the menu and were able to answer questions thrown at them.

Fantastic food as always, updated menu again! The scallops on the specials were amazing, highly recommended. Really can not fault mr Lawrence

Great service. Really nice food and ambience. Had Randang curry that had great depth of flavours. Would order it again. Booking on line was efficient.

Yummy food. Great location. Service a little slow. One meal served was not what was ordered but was provided on a complimentary basis while the correct order was made up. No problem.

Monday night is Pizza night! Half price and full flavour with vegetarian options and a variety which makes me think of coming back ASAP. Book ahead or be disappointed- each table was taken or reserved at 6.15pm!

A place with a great view, fantastic food and the best local beer melbourne and Australia can offer. Staff were knowledgeable, friendly and accomodating. Thanks for the evening.

Food is delicious, service is good, location is great. The staff are terrific with handling special dietary requirements, without making you feel like a nuisance. All round, a winner.

Excellent service and we thoroughly enjoyed the food. Our request to be seated near the window also worked out. Can truly recommend this restaurant for a wonderful dining out experience.

Mr Lawrence never lets us down. We went for rubber on our wedding anniversary and as always there was great service and food. One of our favourite restaurants in Melbourne.

The food is very tasty but apart from the pizzas, the portions are very small. Service was quick and efficient. Staff is friendly. Great location.

Great food, great service. We had a combination of the entree's and two main courses which were all prepared beautifully and tasted just as good.

Food was beautiful is always, but we had to wait ages for it. something must have gone really wrong in the kitchen. staff was really apologistic

Mr Lawrence is in a great location. The front tables have a great view of Bay. The wine list is quite good. A bit noisy.

Delish Food, a little pricey and only problem was bringing the flat bread out after we had the dip so, we paid for somethign we couldnt eat as we ate teh dip assuming hte flat bread with it was all that we got.

Food was great. Service was good but an open door had a considerable cold draft blowing on us for some time. Have spotted a cosier looking nook for our next visit.

Mr Lawrence is a fabulous restaurant with wonderful and delicious food. There are so many great items and a wonderful wine list too. The service is excellent too.

The food at Mr Lawrence is very good. Highly recommend the squid and the meatballs. Prices for wine are on the high side but there is a nice selection to choose from.

Sometimes good, sometimes average - this time very average. Food is getting more expensive and the chicken wings were deep fried and terrible. Service was just ok. Mr Lawrence could make a lot more money for drinks if they actually asked if the customer would like a drink.

Too much smoke coming out from the fire place. I have gone several time and every time they are fixing it but nothing happens. Food excellent.

Great service and really good food - and a bargain on Monday nights with pizzas only $10, you can see why the place is packed

Food was amazing and a great wine list. Service was very good and friendly - only marked down slightly because they forgot water and had to ask a few times for it. Apart from that it was a wonderful experience and would definitely go back and recommend to friends.

We had a big group of 11 people for dinner; and as always at Mr Lawrence the food was delicious and staff were very attentive

Been going to MrLawrence for year with out a problem. This time had the chicken wings and was sick all night and next morning. Had to be the chicken wings as no one else on the table ear the chicken wings
