We have been going to New Golden Emperor Chinese restaurant since I arrive here in Oz way back 2006 it’s 18 years ago still serve yummy delicious food.

Waiter was excellent and sets a pleasant environment. The food can improve. The Mah Lin Wan at Miranda is the benchmark for food excellence. We generally dine out once a month for Chinese and alternate between Golden Emperor and mah Lin Wan.

This is not a Thai/Chinese restaurant, it's a Chinese restaurant only. Satay Chicken Sticks were terrible with what seemed like a gravox type sauce. The special fried rice was bland. The Garlic King Prawns and Combination Chow Mein were both ok. The restaurant itself needs a refurbishment. Lots of the seats were ripped and the decor is old. We asked for water and it was bought out in an old wine bottle. Very strange. The total cost didn't add up to what was on the menu. We won't be back.
