They never served us the fish we ordered and also didn't tell us we would be charged for the food we did not eat, we saw it on a poster after we had ordered and they served us. The food was greasy and all deep fried and very oily. They never checked on us until right at the end and we asked about the fish and then said not to worry about it as it was pretty late into the evening by then and we had to go home.

Severely understaffed. Waiting 40mins to an hour for one dish. Waitress didn’t know when the food was coming and people were leaving left and right

The food, as always is very good. We had a very good waitress and and enjoyable time.

Not sure if they were short staffed but it took over 30 minutes for some of our meals to be delivered to the table. This is a long time given there are set seating times. Some of the food also came out luke warm.

I usually visit Okami Mount Waverley, last Sunday booking was full, so I searched Okami near by, Hampton, Vermont for that time no seat available. This Caufield Okami is the only one I can book, but the experience was not very good. No wonder not many people want to go there. the furniture there were old, there were a step behind my seat, and I almost fall. Though we were the only table there until maybe 6PM, there food comes very slow, I ordered tempura Prawn and Vegie, it looks very Oil, and waited at least one hour for it to be served, though there were not many customer there. I believe people will not go back again, if their food and service keeps like this. Okami Mount Waverley is so much better compare to this one.

Food was amazing as usual. Some problems initially ordering through the app but the helpful staff sorted it out by taking our irdrs

Okami is always great value. Was very busy and probably not enough staff serving but the food is always great.

Everything is good except the chairs are too low and old. They need to get new chairs. It is very hard to eat sitting low position.

Food was fresh, abundant and great quality. Staff were friendly and quick to serve all our platters of food. Overall a fun and delicious dining experience

Service was diabolical. It took 60 minutes for first plate to arrive. 45 minutes later another 4 plates arrived. We left disappointed. Experience was so poor we won’t be back

We were really excited to come as a family but it’s just not family friendly for younger children. The food doesn’t come out fast enough and they get bored and hungry waiting, and you end up needing to leave before they get too tired. We should stick to sushi trains but we wanted to try it.

Great service! Portions were generous and you feel full afterwards, which is a rare commodity these days when you eating out . Some of the dishes were beter than the others, specially the steaks!

Me and my partner went to Okami Caulfield for a date night and were very happy overall with the experience. The food and staff were absolutly wonderful and I would highly recommend a visit! Will come back again

Extremely slow service, at one stage of the evening a maximum of two dishes came out within half an hour. For most of the evening we sat around waiting for orders placed up to an hour previously

I was so disappointed with the experience. We had 10 people for my son’s 21st bday. The food was very slow coming out and many many dishes we ordered just didn’t arrived. For what was a $500 meal it was really disappointing
