Love the place so much that I brought my partner there and he absolutely love the food. Food keeps coming as we order without having to wait for long. Service was good and staff are friendly.

Tasty new additions to the menu, attentive staff , great value for money, came with friends and everyone enjoyed choosing a different dish for all to share and no one left hungry!

The food was good but teriyaki sauce was very sweet and thick and way too much on the sushi Angus beef was a bit chewy and the jug of lemonade was flat and had no bubbles looked like water everything else was great and staff always very friendly and helpful thanks

Japanese-ish, limited menu, but what was there was good, had sushi and sashimi, but only as sets, service was quick and friendly. Overall a reasonable meal at a reasonable cost.

Great service as always. Delicious food!! Only negative- we were seated underneath/next to the bar where staff were washing dishes, talking to each other etc. it was loud and we felt a bit weird. Our heads were just peeking over the bar. We booked the table in advance and I noticed people who just walked in were seated in much better places. Next time I’ll ask to sit somewhere else, I just initially assumed we had been seated there because they were booked out.

We loved trying this restaurant for the first time. Would happily go again and continue trying more of the menu and repeat our favs, like sashimi and the tomkatsu chicken.

Our last order for the night went missing but given how extremely busy they were it was understandable. The service and food overall was excellent. Highly recommend Okami Newton :)
